Nazi Paikidze-Barnes
Is it Nazi to tell them to shove their hijabs were the sun don’t shine?

No Miranda, a swastika is not automatically bad and neither are all Nazis. Nazi Paikidze-Barnes is the U.S. Women’s Chess Champion and is a great role model. She is not weak and meek even though her name means “gentle” in her native Georgian. Nazi is refusing to participate in the Women’s World Chess Championship in Tehran, Iran because of a requirement to wear a hijab.

That’s a good thing.

With regard to swastikas, the word means “lucky object” in Sanskrit. There is one on the St. Thomas World War I Memorial in England.

The British used it on war savings coupons during World War I. And it appeared on U.S. planes in at the time.

Of course, they appeared on U.S. planes during World War II but that was for a different reason.

No Anthony, Buchanan, LIberia is not named for James Buchanan who is the only president born in Pennsylvania and generally considered to be the worst in US history. It’s named for his cousin Thomas who was that West African nation’s first governor.

Who was Andrea Palladio? He was a famous Venetian architect in the 1500s. He based his designs on the symmetry, perspective and values of formal classical temple architecture of the Ancient Greeks. It became popular in Britain and then in the New World. Especially among Virginia planters. Mount Vernon is loosely based on the style.

Milo Yiannopoulos Controversy Background

Milo Yiannopoulos Controversy Background — Free speech defender and flaming homosexual Milo Yiannopoulos was disinvited from the three-day CPAC  (Conservative Political Action Conference) 2017 that starts tomorrow after old comments came to light in which he appeared to defend pedophilia.

He also lost a $250,000 book deal with Simon & Schuster.

The genesis of the charge is a 2015 Joe Rogan Experience interview. The irony is that during it, Milo not merely condemned the practice but outed the frequency it occurred with big-time Hollywood players.

Where he got in trouble was that while defending himself against Rogan’s attacks on religion — a subject about which Rogan revealed profound ignorance –Yiannopoulos revealed he had been molested by a priest at the age of 14 and declined to condemn the priest implying that he was the one to blame.

Milo obviously has issues but it is not fair to accuse him of defending pedophilia. Considering the extremely twisted people that fill the halls of our media, academia and government, this guy is not the enemy.

CPAC should have let him speak. Hopefully, Breitbart is smart enough to keep him as a writer.

Anyway, here is the Rogen interview with the most relevant part starting at about the 2:25:00 mark:

The subject returned in a Jan 4, 2016 Drunken Peasants podcast. Again Yiannopoulos was responding to attacks on religion along with being asked to respond to a leftist video accusing him of supporting pedophilia.

Here that is:

And here is Milo’s own explanation on Facebook

Breitbart.com has mistakenly been avoiding the subject for which Breitbart writer Lee Stranahan takes them to task. He has an interesting perspective on Milo that is worth watching.

Yellow fever is why Philadelphia is not the capital of the United States, or at least a big reason. An epidemic in 1793 — when it was the capital — killed about 5,000 which was 10 percent of the population. The powers that be figured it was just too unhealthy a place.

Stradley Ronon Boasts About Val

Stradley Ronon Boasts About Val — Stradley Ronon, the Philadelphia-based octopus that can be a poster child for the Deep State, has put out a release about how one of its trusted officers now heads the Pennsylvania Republican Party.

“Stradley Ronon Partner Valentino F. DiGiorgio III was elected Chairman of Pennsylvania’s Republican Party during the state party’s convention in Hershey, Pennsylvania,” they bragged. “. . .Val is co-chair of Stradley Ronon’s public finance and banking practice groups. He handles all legal aspects of financial services, including commercial lending and tax-exempt financing for 501(c)(3) entities, governmental units and other entities.”

Before Democrat Josh Shapiro was elected Pennsylvania Attorney General last November he had been a counsel at Stradley Ronon. You think he might still be on their quick dial?

Wonder whose interests are Shapiro and DiGiorgio more inclined to consider in making policy: The law firm/lobbyist with whom they are connected or the average citizen?

OK, we don’t wonder.

The Trump voter still has work to do in taking back the country.

Robert Davi Refugee Challenge

Robert Davi Refugee Challenge — Robert Davi has issued an Oscar-night challenge to his fellow actors objecting to Donald Trump’s vetting and immigration policies. Invite, he says, the illegal and unvetted into the event.

And then bring them to the after-Oscar parties.

“It’s time the walls and electronic security gates come down,” he said. “There are roughly 3,600 seats to the Oscars; we should have at least 2,500 seats reserved for illegal aliens, refugees and migrants, or maybe even more.”

The crickets chirp.

Here is statement.

I propose that Meryl Steep, Chelsea Handler, Richard Gere, Robert DeNiro, Christoph Waltz and others lead an Oscar first: let’s do away with the rules, barriers, and tickets to the Oscars and after-parties, such as the swanky Vanity Fair party or the Weinsteins’ star-studded affair. I ask all migrants, all illegal immigrant criminals and all un-vetted refugees to converge on Hollywood to come to the Oscars and all the after-parties, even those held at the mansions or the Chateau Marmont or anywhere else. After all, we in the Hollywood community want to show all Islamic extremists that we have love in our hearts — and what better way to do that than by inviting them along on our most important night?

It’s time the walls and electronic security gates come down. There are roughly 3,600 seats to the Oscars; we should have at least 2,500 seats reserved for illegal aliens, refugees and migrants, or maybe even more. For those celebrities skipping the ceremony, each should invite at least 100 illegal aliens, refugees or migrants to come to their home to watch the Oscars with them. The Academy and the Vanity Fair people should also get the 150 criminals who have recently been deported from Los Angeles and bring them to the show as honored guests.
