Harrigan William Lawrence Sr Omnibit 3-17-18

You never heard of Edward Harrigan? He and Tony Hart were household names circa 1880. They were sort of the Edgar Bergens and Arthur Godreys of the day. They were probably even as well known as Johnny Carson. Harrigan & Hart performed Broadway shows often involving ethnic Irish humor. Harrigan — spelled H-A-double-R-I-G-A-N — was reputedly the inspiration for a George M. Cohen song still occasionally sung on days like today.
