Free Electronic Recycling Event At Community College

Free Electronic Recycling Event At Community College — “Almost anything with a plug” will be accepted for free at a recycling event, Sunday, March 25 at Delaware County Community College.

Large appliances are excepted, however, while old-style TVs and CRT monitors will require a disposal fee.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Those planning on getting rid of things should enter via Media Line Road and follow the signs.

The event is sponsored by the Delaware County Council of Governments and the service is provided by PAR Recycle Works, a local non-profit that sells reusable materials collected from electronic devices to fund jobs and job skill development for those released from prison.
