Springfield Road Trolley Stop Sans Gates

So, what's missing as of Aug. 26 from SEPTA's Springfield Road Trolley Stop in Springfield, Pa.? That's right, the traffic gates that have been tormenting motorists for a year. Actually, if you look close, you can see the posts lying on the side in the foreground. Also, if you look close, you will see a traffic signal for trollies in the middle of the tracks. Thank State Rep. Bill Adolph (R-165) who promised to get the gates removed and then followed through. It should be noted that stops remain on opposite sides of the busy road so commuters will have to cross it either coming or going, which is something that wasn't the case for about eight decades.
