British history records nothing for what happened between Sept. 3 and Sept. 14, 1752 because on Sept. 3 of that year the British Empire switched to the Gregorian Calendar from the Julian one. Sept. 3 instantly became Sept. 14. Many protested thinking the legislation shortened their lives by 11 days.
Thank you for this post, I love it. You come up with many interesting little known facts, that keep life interesting. Also with this whole one world push to take over, our histories are no longer taught in schools, here in Canada, when they stopped when my children were in school the school board used the excuse that it was racist against the French Quebecois. Now the French Laurentian elites have been running the country and are literally destroying the English part, but looking after their Quebec, all the provinces must give up billions to support them as they are a distinct society among st us English. I have always enjoyed learning history and thank you for being a Conservative and trying to keep countries free and sovereign.
