Did 35,000 Scouts Boo Obama?

The National Boy Scout Jamboree ended, Wednesday, and President Obama broke a quasi-tradition by declining to address the Scouts.

The quadrennial event has been held at Fort A.P. Hill near Washington D.C. since 1981. This year’s event celebrated the 100th Anniversary of the organization.

In lieu of an appearance at the 10-day-long Jamboree, Obama appeared on the View, attended several Democrat fundraisers and visited Detroit.

He did send a short videotaped message which reportedly was shown in a mix of several other presentations. When the president appeared he was roundly booed by the 35,000 Scouts, one man who was there said. Some Scouts attempt to shush their comrades out of respect for the office, but were ignored. The adults  did not participate in the booing but many, however, turned their backs on the screen.

Further, the shotgun range which had been deemed The Presidential Range at past jamborees was not done so this year in an apparent snub at Obama.

This does not appear to be partisan. President Clinton was greeted warmly by the Scouts.

A Creeping Lawlessness In Government

The J. Christian Adams matter is getting a little traction. Even the Philadelphia Inquirer felt obliged to put an AP version on its website.

On Election Day 2008, a couple of thugs at polling place at 1221 Fairmount St., Philadelphia made racially disparaging comments and brandished weapons at poll watchers and voters. The thugs were black and members of a group called the New Black Panther Party.

After the election, the Justice Department brought a voter intimidation case against them. Adams was among the attorneys who pursued the case and won an entry of default after the defendants ignored the charges. Before the final judgment could be rendered though, the case was ordered dismissed. This was in May 2009,

On May 14, 2010, Adams resigned from the Department and went public a few weeks later with what has been occurring. He wrote that “the dismissal is part of a creeping lawlessness infusing our government institutions” and that “citizens would be shocked to learn about the open and pervasive hostility within the Justice Department to bringing civil rights cases against nonwhite defendants on behalf of white victims”.

Adams noted that this put “core American principles of equality before the law and freedom from racial discrimination . . . at risk”.

Adams has talked about this at length on Fox News and it has been a matter of discussion on talk radio. Still, there is a sheep-like segment of this country that will dismiss what Adams is saying out-of-hand solely because he has used those venues. To them, I say prepare to be sheared.

The corruption on display in the New Black Panther Party matter isn’t that much different than that which occurred in the Gerald Walpin matter.

A Suggestion For President Obama

President Obama’s speech last night indicated that he is way out of his depth in dealing with the Deepwater disaster in the Gulf of Mexico. Even his biggest cheerleaders, to their horror, are realizing this.

Here is my humble and sincere suggestion for helping him resolve the crisis: appoint former President George W. Bush as temporary oil-spill czar. Give him carte-blanche executive branch powers for plugging the leak and beginning the clean-up.

After two or three weeks the matter would be settled and President Bush could return to his well-earned privacy and rest in Texas.  President Obama, of course, could go back to golfing, winning Nobel prizes, and partying with Hollywood celebrities and former Beatles.

Rent Free From BP For Obama’s Rahm

Rahm Emanuel, who is President Obama’s chief of staff, has been living rent-free in an apartment owned by a BP consultant it has been revealed.

Emanuel moved  five years ago into the Washington D.C. apartment of Connecticut Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro and her husband, Stanley Greenberg. Greenberg’s consulting firm was the brains behind the marketing of BP as a “green” oil company and gave it the slogan “Beyond Petroleum”

BP was the largest contributor to Obama’s presidential campaign, and was exempted from an environmental impact study by the administration for the Deepwater Horizon disaster site.

Note that even sans the BP connection, the rent-free living would led to questions about conflict of interest and tax liability. Of course, Democrats have this unusual trait of thinking that laws don’t apply to them.

Thank You, Joe Sestak

President Obama, at a rare press conference yesterday, took full credit for stopping the Deepwater Horizon oil spill

“The American people should know that from the moment this disaster began, the federal government has been in charge of the response effort,” Obama said.

So now we know why the spill lasted over a month.

Obama then slammed shut new off-shore drilling in U.S. waters saying:

First, we will suspend the planned exploration of two locations off the coast of Alaska
Second,we will cancel the pending lease sale in the Gulf of Mexico and the proposed lease sale off the coast of Virginia.
Third, we will continue the existing moratorium and suspend the issuance of new permits to drill new deep water wells for six months.
And four, we will suspend action on 33 deep water exploratory wells currently being drilled in the Gulf of Mexico.

In other words, he will continue to do what it takes to send our money to our oil-rich adversaries so they can pay to build mosques on the hollowed grounds of the 9/11 attacks.

He also said “what’s also been made clear from this disaster is that for years, the oil and gas industry has leveraged such power that they have effectively been allowed to regulate themselves” which is something that should make you go hmmmm.

With regard to Springfield Pa.’s own contribution to the failure of this incredibly incompetent administration, Obama said:

The — there will be an official response shortly on the Sestak issue which I hope will answer your questions. You will get it from my administration, so — and it will — it will be coming out — when I say shortly, I mean shortly. I don’t mean weeks or months. With respect to the first –I can assure the public that nothing improper took place. But as I said, there will be a response shortly on that issue.

(For President Obama’s explanation see DNA Tests For Obama, Sestak Neckties? )

Dick Morris, who was President Clinton’s go-toe guy during the most successful parts of that administration, said  Congressman Sestak’s allegation of a job offer from Obama, if true, would be  an impeachable offense, and if Washington is unwilling to investigate the matter Pennsylvan Attorney General Tom Corbett, from whence Sestak is from, should empanel a grand jury to do so.

The sooner Obama is impeached and removed from office, the better for America and the world.

Thank you, Joe Sestak.

A Looming War But Blue Devils’ Work Won’t Be Ignored

Today’s front page of the Philadelphia Inquirer carried stories on the latest attempt to plug the Deepwater Horizon leak, the squelching of a no-bid development deal for Family Court building in Philadelphia, girls lacrosse, puffing repeal of “don’t ask don’t tell”, the Academy of Natural Sciences, and Harrisburg corruption.

On page 2, they carries an update piece from Obama sources about how China is “likely to join rebuke of N. Korea” — which does not seem to be available on their website and has a markedly different slant than  this piece this morning from Bloomberg.Com: China May Shield North Korea As Lee, U.S. Seek Action.

On March 26, the South Korean frigate Cheonan was sunk by a North Korean submarine. Today, South Korea held a major naval exercise featuring anti-submarine drills, and U.S. Gen. Walter Sharp — who heads the U.S.-South Korean combined forces command which includes the 28,500 U.S. troops stationed there — raised the watch level from 3 to 2 one notch below the highest level.

North Korea responded by ending an agreement designed to prevent armed clashes at  maritime border with South Korea and warned of “immediate physical strikes” if any South Korean ships enter its waters.

North Korea is an impoverished dying nations but armed with nuclear weapons developed during the Clinton years. It’s military also has an enormous artillery component and South Korea’s capital of Seoul is within range of those guns.

Meanwhile, President Obama is meeting with the Duke Blue Devils basketball team to honor their sacrifice and effort  in winning the NCAA championship. He leaves for Chicago tonight to chill out over the Memorial Day weekend, which unfortunately will mean he is unavailable for the traditional presidential Memorial Day visit to Arlington Cemetery to honor the sacrifice and effort that involved keeping America free.

I hope he doesn’t chill out so much he can’t handle any 3 a.m. phone calls.

Be From Pa. And Scoff At Fed Law

Probably the best place to escape  the consequences of violating federal law is Arizona , or maybe the Gulf of Mexico , but Pennsylvania is certainly making a fine run for the title in these Obama years.

A year ago, Attorney General Eric Holder dismissed complaints against members of the New Black Panther Party for actions taken on
Election Day 2008 at a polling place at 1221 Fairmount St., Philadelphia.

Samir
Shabazz,  and Jerry Jackson dressed in paramilitary style uniforms and
made racially disparaging comments and threats at voters while
brandishing night sticks.

Holder never said why he dropped the charges.

On Friday , Obama’s Justice Department rejected a Republican request to appoint a special counsel to investigate
allegations that the White House offered a job to Congressman Joe Sestak (D-7) if he
would drop out of the Pennsylvania Senate Democratic primary and leave a clear road for incumbent Arlen Specter who was Obama’s pick.

Sestak, who won the primary and is now the party’s nominee, said in February the offer was made which would be a significant violation of federal election laws. He repeated the claim after his victory a week ago.

So why is not the Chief Executive of the United States not interested in executing the laws, the job for which he is charged? Would he have the same response if the allegations were against his political opponents? Does anyone else see a problem with arbitrary enforcement of the laws?

Does Obama Hate White People Or Is He Simply Incompetent?

Does Obama Hate White People Or Is He Simply Incompetent? — President Barack Obama checked the box on his census form “Black, African Am., or Negro” and only that box.

The Census Bureau is part of the U.S. Department of Commerce which Obama oversees as president.

Here is how the reference book created by the Census Bureau says the census race question should be addressed:

The race question must be answered for each member of the household. Mark all  boxes for the appropriate races.

Mark the “White” box if this person has origins in any of the original peoples of Europe, the Middle East, or North Africa. This includes people who indicate their race as “White” or report entries such as Irish, German, Italian, Lebanese, Near Easterner, Arab, or Polish.

Mark the “Black, African Am., or Negro” box if this person has origins in any of the Black racial groups of Africa. This includes people who indicate their race as “Black, African American, or Negro,” or provide written entries such as African American, Afro-American, Kenyan, Nigerian, or Haitian.

Obama is more than half white as per the census directions since his mother was entirely of European background while his father’s side includes Arab blood. For some reason, however, he declined to follow his own directions by checking the white box along with the black one.

Maybe he’s just a clueless incompetent who can’t follow directions, which is the explanation to which I lean.

Or maybe he just doesn’t like white people which should be troubling to the vast majority of Americans who happen to be white.

Does Obama Hate White People Or Is He Simply Incompetent?

It’s Bush’s Fault

President Obama is getting some nice publicity for his promise to open up new areas to offshore drilling, a popular and sensible thing which I’m sure he hopes stops his skidding approval ratings.

Of course, what the Old Guard media is avoiding stating is that this is just a follow up on action by  President Bush in 2008 and is only a fraction of what Bush sought to open.

Uniter Not A Divider?

A study by the University of Minnesota shows that President Barack Obama has made more than four times as many “remarks” on foreign soil than he has in states that did not vote for them. So much for being a uniter not a divider.

Hopefully, next time Pennsylvania declines to vote for the Young Man From Wherever and he stops pestering us with his presence.
