But that’s not why his name is recognized today.
In 1900, he started a lawn tennis tournament that would become the largest international tennis competition. It is now known as the Davis Cup.

He would go on to fame playing John F. Kennedy in PT -109, which also was about a patrol boat in World War II.
Corvette K-225 starred Randolph Scott and featured “Bob” Mitchum in a minor role.
