The reason, as the reason is for most idiocy, is Democrats. Democrat activists file a lawsuit to stop development of the eyesore. Remember, this is not a bucolic glade or peaceful woodland but a sea of asphalt sprinkled with vacant store fronts.

We have a similar situation where I live. Vacant stores, boarded up houses, etc. Fortunately, things are looking up. There is a development company that is working on many projects for a stretch of a little over a mile.
It will take some time, but I think the end result will be a vast improvement for our township.
I don’t understand why anyone would file a lawsuit to stop the development of an eyesore. Where is the logic?
