Jill Stein Gets It

Jill Stein Gets It — Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein blasted the Democratic Party in a tweet.

Jill Stein Gets It
She gets it.

“The Dems’ leaked emails reveal their mastery of corporate politics. Manipulate the process, the voters, the media, all to serve the elite,” she said.

She gets it. It’s a shame the race wasn’t between her and Trump. We may vehemently disagree with her solutions but we fully respect that she understands the problem. Our Founders rebelled against feudalism. The corporate cronyism that is being imposed on our lives is different in name only.

It’s no coincidence that Hillary Clinton is out-raising Trump 20 to 1 among one-percenters. These are types who want to supplant individual conscience and be lords of the world.

For my very religious friends who remain NeverTrump, remember the punchline: “Why didn’t you save me, God, when I prayed for deliverance?” “I sent you two boats and a helicopter.”

  1. “Why didn’t you save me, God, when I prayed for deliverance?” “I sent you two boats and a helicopter.”

    Good point.

  2. “It’s a shame the race wasn’t between her and Trump. ”

And if it were? I’d still vote for Trump, given that choice. Stein is a Statist, her solutions all involve increasing the size of the State at the expense of the individual, an increase in totalitarianism. It’s the same as choosing between Hillary and Trump, as far as I’m concerned.

Our Founders did not rebel against feudalism. Feudalism was already long dead by the 18th century, at least in Britain and her possessions. Our Founders rebelled against a government that consisted of a legislature coupled to a bureaucracy, that was underway to intervene in every aspect of the individual’s life.

Corporate cronyism is not feudalism, it’s fascism. It’s the collusion of large businesses with the State to control markets and secure a monopoly, crowding out competition. Stein would still do that, except that she would have the State dictate the terms exclusively, all the while exclaiming that it’s for our own good.

If you don’t like corporate cronyism, then reform the tax codes and reduce the size of the federal government. There is cronyism, because a swollen, bloated federal government engages in wealth transfers by seizing our money under threat of violence, and it awards that money to its favorites. If we shrink the government and end that seizure, then there’s no money for the State to give, and no reason for businesses to lobby for favors.

So no, it’s not a shame that the race isn’t between Trump and Stein. That’s a choice between being mauled by a mountain lion or being mauled by a bear. Either way, you’re going to get mauled, that’s the choice.

  3. –We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal,–

That does not refer to a bureaucracy or a legislature but a king.

If you want to call the Hillary donors fascists, it works. I don’t feel bad about calling them feudalists though. They want to create a permanent underclass to remain forever dependent upon them.
