Joseph’s People Picnic Is July 9

Joseph’s People is hosting their annual picnic 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m., Tuesday, July 9, at the Saint Joseph’s School, 332 Manor Ave., Downingtown, Pa. 19335. Parking is accessible by turning right and circling behind the school. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be grilled and served. The free event is open to all those who are seeking employment and their families.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to find support and information in a relaxed atmosphere,” said Ann Barr, who is Vice President of Joseph People. 

Joseph’s People is a non-denominational and ecumenical non-profit group that providesmembers with the tools and resources necessary to pursue an effective and successful job search. Since 1995, they have helped more than 50,000 people recover from job loss. They have more than 1,800 members with 12 chapters in the Philadelphia area and one in Pittsburgh. They are run entirely by volunteers. All meetings and events are free.
