Kurt Holland In The 91st District — School teacher Kurt Holland has announced that he will take on long-time incumbent State Rep. Dan Moul in the 91st District Republican Primary, May 15.

The district is in Adams County.

Moul has represented  it  since 2007. Is he a bad guy? Don’t know, but the Pennsylvania GOP hasn’t done squat since he’s been in regarding the issues crushing its citizens (pension reform, banning school strikes, fighting union corruption) and Moul hasn’t made a lot of noise about them.

He seems to be content enjoying his $85,338.65 salary (not counting health benefits, pension and per diems) and sponsoring routine legislation such as bills that amend the Scrap Material Theft Prevention Act.

Nothing that makes us think that he’s worth $85,338.65 anyway.

Holland, a resident of Cumberland Township, served in the Army and National Guard from 1988 to 1999 as a medical specialist ending with a rank of E-5. He now teaches special education in Baltimore city schools. His wife Janet is a human resources specialist  at The Daughters Of Charity in Emmitsburg.

Holland says he has worked on farms since he was eight. He has served as an Adams County committeeman, state delegate on several occasions and was vice president of the Young Republicans.

He has a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and a master’s degree from Liberty University.

He is conservative on the important issues.

One can either fuss and fume about why legislators like Moul don’t have term limits or give guys like Holland a chance.

We say, give Holland a chance. Drain the swamp in Harrisburg.

    1. So am I look at my website! I’m going to call for a Referedum on Term Limits. Take it to the voter’s and let them decide; power to the people! I’ve also advocated strongly for the elimination of the school tax!

    2. Kurt will make an outstanding State Rep. He’s got a great resume and wonderful innovative ideas for putting Pennsylvania on the right track.

  1. I believe in my heart that Kurt could make a difference. Please check him out and consider making him your choice. He is a wonderful man and would be a Patriotic leader.

  2. Kurt Holland is and ethical man with integrity. He will support SB76 to keep PA homeowners in their homes. He is a warrior when it comes to our bill, attended town hall meetings, sent out flyers, promoting HB76.
He is the man for the PEOPLE. He believes in term limits, I stand proud next to this man,

  3. After discussing his beliefs and intentions several times, it’s easy to see that our freedoms and overall well being, are at the top of Kurts priority list.
Just the fact that he’s accessible proves to me he is actually for “we the people” and not paying lip service like most.

  4. I like what Mr. Holland has to say in his above statements. He makes a lot of good points that need to be addressed. One in particular is as he puts it, “One can either fuss and fume about why legislators like Moul don’t have term limits or give guys like Holland a chance.”

People generally do tend to complain about the government. Along with this a majority of people cry out that they want term limits. It amuses me in such, because the people have the power to implement term limits every time they go to the poll and vote. Yet, they are the very same people that cry about wanting term limits that keep voting the same people into office. When and where will you ever receive the change that you so desperately claim you want if this is how you act and how you vote?

Although I know the role of a State Rep is only a 2-year commitment. Should you give the man a chance either he will provide evidence that he is a sufficient leader in the servitude of state representation. Or he’ll be just as bad as the gentleman you’re voting out. Either way it doesn’t seem to be a great loss by bringing Mr. Kurt Holland in as your new state representative over the 91st District.

One of my trusted friends says that they know him quite well and believe that he will represent it in highest regard. Have no reason but to believe them.

    1. Thank you very much John for your kind words! Your correct in your sssessment; nobody could be worse than Dan Moul! You make another intetesting point; Republicans are always saying, Drain The Swamp, and Term Limits, but yet, as you so eloquently put it, they keep in voting for the same individual’s…unbelievable! I’m a strict constitutionalist and have no desire to befriend anyone that, I conceive to be less than honorable! No senior citizen is going to lose their home do to property taxes while I’m their representative! I’ve advocated heavily for HB76, as where Moul has never did support it, but he co-sponsores it, it only took 10 yrs! He co-sponsors every bill that comes down the pike, as a way to make his constitutes believe he’s actually working! In essence, you can co-sponsor A bill, but doesn’t in no way mean that they support it, as so often they don’t! I’m pushing for Representatives to invest in their own retirement and health care just as we do in the private sector and no per diems! The time has come for our representatives to stop living like Rock Stars off the backs of honest hard working Pennsylvanians! God Bless, You!

      1. I apologize for any grammatical errors! I had a piece of glass in my eye, and looking at a computer all day makes my eyes tear up!

“When a government betrays the people by amassing too much power and becoming tyrannical, the people have no choice but to exercise the original rights of self defense – to fight the government.” – Alexander Hamilton
“The ultimate authority resides in the people, and that if the federal government got too powerful and overstepped its authority, then the people would develop plans of resistance and resort to arms.” – James Madison
“The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.” – Thomas Jefferson
“This country, with its institutions, belongs to the people who inhabit it. Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing Government, they can exercise their constitutional right of amending it or their revolutionary right to dismember or overthrow it.” – Abraham Lincoln
“We, the people are rightful masters of both Congress and the courts – not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution.” – Abraham Lincoln

  6. As a former military officer in both the Army and Marines, I enthusiastically support Kurt Holland. He is a scholar of the Constitution, a school teacher, and veteran. He loves our country and the freedoms we enjoy. He is also articulate and forthright in expressing his views. Thank-you Kurt for throwing your hat in the ring and for jumping into the “arena” of public service in Pennsylvania.

  7. I’ve known Kurt Holland for more than 20 years and he is an honorable guy. If he says he’s going to do something, he will. We need that kind of integrity now more than ever in Pennsylvania.

  8. I honestly believe Kurt is not your average politician. He’s not looking for a job to make money, he already has that and more. I’ve known Kurt since we were roommates at How’s Military School. He has always been a ‘standup guy’ even as a kid. Kurt wants this so that he can make a difference! Vote for kurt!

  9. Thank you for stepping up and hopping into the fray, Kurt! Your willingness to serve your fellow citizens is truly inspiring!
