Library Job Search Resources Explained — Diane Arnold will present Free Job Search Resources at Your Local Library  7-8:30 p.m., Feb. 5, at Media Presbyterian Church’s Hassler Chapel, 30 E. Baltimore Ave., Media, PA 19063. 

The event is sponsored by .Joseph’s People of Central Delaware County.

The chapel can be accessed from the Baltimore Avenue side, to the left of the main door, or around back on E. Franklin Street, enter the back door and go up the stairs. All are welcome, without regard to religious affiliation.

Learn how to use the Delaware County Libraries’ resources in your job search! Find targeted job listings in your area of interest and experience. Use resources like Tutor.com to write an up-to-date resume and a targeted cover letter. Sign up for a library card on the spot for instant access to all of the County’s no cost library resources. 

Ms. Arnold, who is the Reference and Outreach Coordinator for Delaware County Libraries, will describe how to best take advantage of the Libraries’ cutting edge job search information.

Earning a MSLIS in Library and Information Science from the University of Kentucky, she was employed as a Librarian at Chestnut Hill College before joining Delaware County Libraries. For 16 years, Diane has been a librarian showing adults how to get the most out of electronic resources! 

Joseph’s People of Central Delaware County is a joint program of Media Presbyterian Church and St. Laurence Church in Upper Darby. The group has an active, free forum on LinkedIn, named “Joseph’s People of Central Delaware County-Free Job Search Group” in the LinkedIn directory.
