Kudos to Charlie Frindt, Raman Ishwar, Abigail Pearse and Schafer Hudson Ortyn and the rest of the Penncrest Hi-Q team for winning the 2015 National Hi-Q Competition on April 16.
Hi-Q is an academic quiz competition for high school students that was founded in Delaware County in 1948 by the Scott Paper Co.
Wow!
Our Delco kids should have made us all very proud.
I will say a prayer that Charlie Frindt, Raman Ishwar, Abigail Pearse and Schafer Hudson Ortyn will get full scholarships to a Pennslyvania university that will field an Hi-Q team that will compete against other colleges.
I’ll remain hopeful that the cerebral fever will spread to the rest of our high schools not only in Delco, but the rest of Pennsylvania and even the whole United States.
Let’s continue dreaming.
Our college champions can turn pro and become millionaires just like their muscular brethren
They can use their brains to make life better for all of us.
How long do you think it will take before a group of millionaires start a genius league of their own?
Great idea!!
Hey Steve Jobs, tell Mary what you’re about to do. You can use a few computer experts.
I’d much rather watch an average sized person dazzle me with his brain power than watch a seven-foot freak put a ball in a hoop.
I wonder what the salary of a champion genius would be?
It sounds like watching Jeopardy.
Lots of people watch Jeopardy
Hey Steve Jobs Tell Mary what you can do about it. You can use a few geniuses in your line.
