  1. I’ve found it interesting to read diaries and letters written in colonial times, and from the Revolutionary War, and to read that they experienced exactly the same kind of weather that we see. There were bitterly cold storms in January and February, followed by extreme thaws, in cycles that ran till spring finally came. And they saw summers with brutally hot and humid weather, and terrific thunderstorms that blew in and blew out again as quickly as they came. It was quite different from the weather the Brits and Germans were used to, and they could have been here in PA in our typical Augusts.

  2. People have forgotten The Great Hurricane of 1780 was GOD protecting his people from Great Britain.
We escaped the tyranny that held us captive, and found a new land we could found with our beliefs and values. And let Good make that land Great.
It wasn’t good enough to England, that we were gone. They crossed the ocean to kill us. But, GOD, intervened and wrote his Story, with a late-season, northern hurricane, that ensured our Independence.
GOD, is ready to Intervene again.
