Congressman Eric Cantor of Virginia, the House Majority Leader, has announced on Facebook that the Democrats in the Senate have stopped the VA Management Accountability Act that would have given the Veterans Affairs secretary the power to fire or demote VA executives for poor performance.
The bill passed the House 390-33, yesterday, May 21.
While, the House is controlled by Republicans, obviously the vast majority of Democrats in that body also supported the bill.
The Senate is controlled by Democrats and led by Harry Reid, a corrupt Nevada lawyer.
