Tom Smith of Armstrong County has thrown his hat in the ring to be the Republican candidate to take on Democrat incumbent Senator Bob Casey.
Smith, is a Tea Party leader and one-time coal company owner.

Seems to me that I heard somewhere that this erstwhile Republican leader was a water carrier for that erstwhile big spending Democrat John Murtha. No wonder he doesn’t enjoy the company of those in the Tea Party. He’s in good company. None of the left-wing media approves of the Tea Party either.
