A Ukrainian Food Festival featuring delicious ethnic foods, music and dancing will be held noon to 5 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 29 at Holy Myrrh-Bearers Church, 900 Fairview Road, Swarthmore, Pa. 19081.
It’s free and includes tours of the historic church.
Food for sale will include pierogies, holubki (stuffed cabbage), halushi (cabbage with noodles), kielbasi, potato pancakes and homemade desserts.
The Kazka Ukrainian Folk Ensemble will perform at 1 p.m. and the Kazka Ukrainian Dancers will take the stage at 3 p.m.
It’s rain or shine and will be a great time.
an acquaintance said that the church sells food on particular days and I wanted to find out about it.
