Unemployment Dips Beneath 8 Percent Says Administration

The Labor Department reports that the unemployment rate has dipped to 7.8 percent for September which would be the first time it has been beneath 8 percent since Obama took office in 2009.

The Labor Department says that 114,000 jobs were added last month. This would be the largest increase one-month increase in 29 years.

President Obama signed the Military and Overseas Voter Empowerment Act into law in 2009. Since then, however, his administration has reportedly not set up half of the installation voting assistance office as required by the law.

What’s up with that? Is he afraid they might have to show ID or something?

Game Not Over

With the first debate over, those who want to maintain a free America should not get cocky despite Romney’s excellent performance and Obama’s not-so-excellent one.

The dinosaur propagandists are going to dissect and “fact check” every claim Mitt made and conclude all were false. They are going to paint his voucher plan as an attempt to destroy health care for the needy and elderly rather than as the effort to save it for them it actually is since if nothing is done health care for the needy and elderly ends in reality although it shall remain on the books.
Free clues: less doctors = less health care; no doctors = no health care; bad doctors = bad health care.
They are going to say Mitt’s cut-the-tax-rate plan is going to raise the deficit — and debt — completely ignoring the point that if the money stays in the private sector it will return to the work foce the millions who have left — and give raises to those who stayed in — meaning far more revenue for the government than raising taxes on existing businesses could ever hope to bring. They will also deny the billions of revenue closing loopholes and deductions will garner as per Romney’s plan.
The old media are propagandists no different than Pravda in its prime. If you want a free country ignore them.

Thoughts About Tonight’s Debate

I have never, ever, ever ever, EVER, seen a worse performance by a political figure than tonight’s by President Obama. 

Ever!
He would have been painful to watch but as he rambled for the dozenth time without saying anything he became boring and I left.
I did come back, however. Sense of duty and all that.  I swear at one point he was conceding the election to Mitt Romney saying that Mitt would have a busy first day in office meeting with Democratic leaders as he was also going to repeal Obama care.
Romney did a fine job as did moderator Jim Lehrer. 
By the way, TrueBlueLiberty.com is reporting that Obama spoke for 42.5 minutes while Romney spoke for 38.2 minutes.

The Obama administration has sent a notice to military contractors to ignore a law requiring that workers be given 60 days notice of possible layoffs.

Desperation In Obama Camp

Just got a phone call from a Brittany  on behalf of the Obama campaign. She said 54 people were being bussed down from NewYork this weekend to canvass Delaware County. She wanted to know if I can help drive them.

Wow. That’s pretty desperate.
Brittany was very nice but I had to say no.
The Delaware County Patriots don’t seem to be having trouble getting local people to canvass for Romney, btw.

1/4 Of Girls, 1/7 Of Boys Abused Before 18 Says Pa

The House Education Committee voted to require sexual abuse awareness to be taught in the school health curriculum for students in grades K-8, reports State Rep. Jim Cox (R-129). The focus of House Bill 2318 is not the perpetrator, but the prevention of child exploitation through awareness, he said. 

House Bill 2318 seeks to arm children with information that will help them to avoid victimization, compel them to come forward if they are victimized, and help to prevent others from falling victim to abuse. 

Cox said that one in four girls and one in seven boys are sexually abused before they reach the age of 18, and many are unaware of what happened or unsure of how to communicate the abuse.
