Trump 60 Minute Interview With Lesley Stahl — President Trump was interviewed, Oct. 20, at the White House for a 60 Minute story scheduled to air Sunday.
The questions were confrontational albeit if it happened live they would not have been unfair. The President certainly got his point across.
The problem, though, is CBS would have certainly, definitely edited the footage in a way that would have distorted his position and left out very important things he was saying.
Really Lesley, the Biden scandal is “unverified” hence can be ignored? Shouldn’t investigative reporters be trying to verify and bring it before the public for discussion? Isn’t the possibility of a traitor as commander in chief kind of consequential?
And Lesley, you seriously think the FBI didn’t violate rules and protocols and all sorts of traditions necessary for us to function as a law-based Republic in their investigation of President Trump starting in the 2016 campaign?
President Trump is absolutely right to release this before the propagandists at CBS could chop up his statements.
CBS is upset, of course.
“The White House’s unprecedented decision to disregard their agreement with CBS News and release their footage will not deter 60 MINUTES from providing its full (sic), fair (sic) and contextual (sic) reporting which presidents have participated in for decades,” it said in a statement.
Tough toenails CBS.

Also, tonight’s debate is going to be great. I know Pres. Trump will be ready and take good aim at the ridiculous man the Dems put up as a candidate.
The President agrees with CBS that we need a factual account – that’s why he is releasing the entire interview. The objection by CBS show they are letting their mask slip, revealing true purpose of interview – slam Trump.
The media has done this for the past 4 years.
