A jump off the bed and she pads downstairs. Scratch, scratch, scratch. The sound of litter. Ah, a space. Crouching over the box, Scaredy cat does her business. She climbs out, turns and smells the long, brown log. Yes, it’s good. That means .”POO RUN”.

Nails scratching on the wood floor, she takes off to the basement. Thump, thump, thump. Downstairs. Around the carpeted floors. Reverse.

Thump, thump, thump. Up the basement stairs. Nails skidding on the wooden floor, she skids to a stop and dashes upstairs to the bedroom. Thud, thud, thud, thud.

Door! Crash! The door bangs open and she skids to a stop on the carpet. “Meow, meow, meow.” Then, she dashes back down the stairs. Thud, thud, thud,
thud, thud.

An exasperated sigh. “Dammit. Do you have to do that all the time? Can’t you just cover that shit up.”
