Vitamin D Insufficiency May Account for Almost Nine of Ten COVID-19 Deaths

Vitamin D Insufficiency May Account for Almost Nine of Ten COVID-19 Deaths –Our headline is unchanged from the one on the National Institutions of Health (NIH) website for which this claim can be found.

It’s from a report by Hermann Brenner and Ben Schöttker, which was published Nov. 27, 2020.

The researchers say that based on data from Medical University Hospital Heidelberg at that start of the pandemic the results imply that 87% of COVID-19 deaths may be statistically attributed to vitamin D insufficiency and could potentially be avoided by eliminating vitamin D insufficiency.

Sure you all heard about this right?

Brenner and Schöttker recommended that rational vitamin D supplementation whose safety has been proven in an extensive body of research should be promoted and initiated to limit the toll of the pandemic even before the final proof of efficacy in preventing COVID-19 deaths by randomized trials.

This happened right? I mean you saw all those passive-aggressive public service announcements on TV and social media pushing the use of inexpensive vitamin D supplements, right?

Oh sorry, those were for the vax.

Actually, if you are a regular reader here you would have been informed last August.

The establishment, though, almost seems to be keeping vitamin D a secret. It’s enough to make you believe in conspiracy theories.

On an even gloomier note, the CDC says that on Oct. 8 — with 76.4 percent of those 12 or older having at least one shot — there were 2,196 Covid deaths. On Oct. 8, 2020 there were 681 Covid deaths.

If it needs to be pointed out, nobody was vaccinated in 2020.

We fear for the winter.
