Wyatt Earp’s last armed confrontation was in defending a group of potash miners outside Los Angeles from a corporation trying to run them off in 1910. He fired a round from his Winchester at the foot of federal receiver and said ” Back off or I’ll blow you apart or my name is not Wyatt Earp.”
