Springfield Man Fights Trump

Springfield Man Fights Trump — For our nevertrumper friends, former 165th legislative district candidate Jeremy Fearn is having a gathering 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 8,  at his home in Springfield, Pa. as part of a MoveOn.org “United Against Hate Barnstorm” campaign. Springfield Man Fights Trump

If you want to stop The Donald you can RSVP here.

Frankly though, it seems that those against “hate” would be fighting to keep the person behind things like this and what happen to this man from gaining power.

Dilbert Shadow Banned Due To Trump Support

Dilbert Shadow Banned Due To Trump Support — Scott Adams, who pens the comic strip Dilbert, is not what one considers a typical right winger. However, he has come out for Donald Trump as many of us have because his opponent is a thief and liar, and because The Donald is not intimidated by political correctness and addresses obvious and consequential realities.

Dilbert Shadow Banned Due To Trump SupportThis exercise of Adam’s political rights has led to repercussions. He his been subject to pointless personal attacks by the self-proclaimed “tolerant and enlightened” but that goes with the territory of expressing an opinion.

More disgraceful and troubling is his “shadow banning” by Twitter. Shadow banning is banning a user from a web forum in such a way that he is unaware of the ban. It is a particularly sneaky and despicable form of censorship.

Adams learned of his banning when his many followers informed him they were not seeing his tweets. The ban has apparently been lifted after protests. That someone in authority at the failing company thought he could get away with it, however, shows why the company is failing.

Censoring political speech is never justice — social or otherwise.

Harrisburg Broken. Really, Really Broken

Harrisburg Broken. Really, Really Broken

Harrisburg Broken. Really, Really BrokenBy Sen. Scott Wagner

In my past articles, I have reported repeatedly many of the findings in Harrisburg where I see first-hand waste, fraud and abuse.

Here is another great example of how mismanaged Harrisburg really is. Last Thursday (Sept. 29) the Auditor General held a press conference and reported the findings of an audit that was performed at the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS).

It was reported at the press conference that from July 2013 to June 2014 DHS paid public assistance benefits (CASH) to over 2,300 deceased (DEAD) people.

Click here for a report from TV station WNEP- http://wnep.com/2016/09/29/audit-2300-deceased-people-on-welfare/

I continue to pound on the table that “Harrisburg does not have a revenue problem – Harrisburg has a spending problem.”

Well here is another slogan – Harrisburg is out of control – zero accountability – who cares, it is not our money.”

I have reported previously that there is a total lack of accountability in the various state agencies. DHS is the best example of an agency out of control.

You may ask yourself how an agency could be out of control. Here is the best and most accurate answer: Lack of leadership, direction and accountability.

Where should leadership, direction, and accountability start in Harrisburg you might ask – here is the simple answer – the Governor’s office.

Gov. Wolf has been in office for almost two years and I have not seen any large initiatives in any single state agency to determine how well a specific agency is performing or not performing.

In the last several months I have met with two separate companies and their representatives who have presented to me a scenario where, due to fraud and abuse, there are between $1.8 billion to $4 billion of fraudulent claims being paid by Medicaid through the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services annually – the $1.8 billion and $4 billion are numbers that the federal government has provided based on total Medicaid dollars spent in Pennsylvania. Medicaid is the subsidized health care program for low income people that is managed by DHS.  What is being done about this fraud and abuse?

Absolutely nothing.

Since the beginning of this year I have received continued complaints from private sector companies and the natural gas industry that the Department of Environmental Resources (DEP) is delaying earth disturbance permits for pipeline projects.

Why are these permits being delayed? Here is the answer:  No leadership, direction and accountability.

Just a few weeks ago I received a complaint from a constituent that a specific agency was not returning telephone calls to discuss the constituent’s issue.  I directed a person in my Senate office to work on a resolution and guess what? Our telephone calls went unanswered.

How could our telephone calls go unanswered? No Leadership, direction and accountability.

I could go on for hours of how mismanaged Harrisburg really is. No leadership, No accountability, career bureaucrats and an attitude that instead of doing any heavy lifting and managing the money that already flows into Harrisburg. The first quick solution is to just raise taxes.

Governors come and go. House and Senate members come and go. Career bureaucrats stay below the radar screen to keep their jobs, generous benefits, and their coveted pensions when they retire.

At the end of September I completed my 30th month (two and a half years) in the Pennsylvania State Senate. All I can say is – WOW. I knew that state government was out of control in Harrisburg before I arrived and guess what?  It is 10 times worse than I expected.

I anticipate that in January of 2017 the Pennsylvania Legislature will be presented with a budget from Governor Wolf that will ask for substantial tax increases.

Who cares?

The current mentality from Governor Wolf is that Pennsylvania taxpayers can afford to pay more taxes.

If you are willing to pay more taxes instead of Governor Wolf providing leadership, direction and holding every person who works in state government accountable, please send me an email so we can put your name on a list so Harrisburg can send you a tax bill.

Out of control government in Harrisburg – the gift that just keeps on taking !

Left Rigged Game With Strawman Labels

Left Rigged Game With Strawman Labels

By John Haenn

Does anyone even know what conservatism is anymore?  It’s this little idea that’s been grossly and probably purposely undersold to the American public since the days of Reagan.

Conservatism is the idea that given a strong country, strong economy and freedom, that people can fend for themselves.  This gets countered as conservatives wanting people to be poor and starve to death.  Thank goodness that we have all of these government programs to keep these people barely alive, barely eating, barely having shelter.

Conservatism is the idea that an intact country is a country that has a border.  It’s a country that has laws that allow people to immigrate in both directions legally through a process.  This gets countered as conservatives wanting America to be closed to the world, a racist and harsh America that looks down on peoples all over the world.

Conservatism is the idea that a smaller government is a better government.  This goes completely ignored, because while we are all holding onto our conservative values, the left is selling the idea that jobs, food, housing and happiness all come from the government.  They do a damn fine job selling this to the American public.

The American public is bought and paid for.  And it’s our fault.

For 20 years, we’ve done nothing to expand our base.  We don’t educate blacks and minorities about how better off they’d be living in a country that embraces conservative principles.  We don’t control the conversation at all.  We’re not doing any talking.  We’ve allowed ourselves to be demonized to the point where it will take a generation to undo the damage, and even that may not be enough.  We may simply be done.

A.  Did we feel we had safety in numbers?
B.  Did we feel that we’d win elections on principle, because the good guys always win?
C.  Did we think that since our ideas are good that people would just jump on board?
D.  Did we assume that blacks and minorities are unreachable?
E.  All of the above.

Answer, E.

Left Rigged Game With Strawman LabelsBut while we’ve slept, the left has undone everything that we accomplished under Reagan.  And they’ve done more.  They’ve infiltrated our party with left leaning Republicans who on some issues will side with the big government liberals every time.  Think of it like a casino.  We win some battles, but the game is rigged towards the Democrats.  This holds true regardless of who controls which chamber or both chambers.  In reality, we have 1 political party; The Elite.

Our Elite Overlords.
The elite whom decide our Freedoms.
The elite whom decide our Success.
The elite whom decide our very Survival.

From cradle to grave, this Elite Party controls every part of our lives, from birth, education, family, health and death.

What do we do?  As I said, we may simply be done.  Welcome to Rock Bottom, nation.  The national debt is unthinkable.  Total unemployment is 30 percent and probably higher.  There’s no manufacturing.  No innovation.  No invention and no drive.  We’ve run out of time.  Reagan’s City On A Hill is going dark.

If we have any hope of saving the country, we must begin first with honestly admitting where we currently are as a people.  The picture is not good.  The outlook is worse.  The kind of urgency needed in the righting of the ship is not often seen in human history, but we have no choice.  This land was chosen as the last best hope of mankind, and as Ronald Reagan once said, “How can we do any less; we’re Americans.”

A young nation turned to George Washington in their darkest hour.  Who will step up this time?  Who will be the voice to mend a torn nation?

Mr. Haenn is a resident of Collingdale, Pa.

The Ottoman Empire lasted from 1299 to 1922 during which time it conquered Arabia, North Africa and a large part of Europe, and was a major world power. It is named for Osman Gazi, whose decedents ruled it for its entirety. The dynasty remains and Osman Bayezid Osmanoğlu heads it. Osmanoğlu is  an American citizen. and worked in the New York Public Library. He’s 91.

Europhysics News Trutherism

Europhysics News Trutherism — Trutherism, the belief that Al-Qaeda terrorists were not entirely behind the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, received a boost, Aug. 24, in the latest issue of Europhysics News which carries an article claiming that the World Trade Center was brought down by controlled demolition.

The magazine is published by the prestigious European Physical Society.

The authors of the piece are Steven Jones, a former full professor of physics at Brigham Young University; Robert Korol, a professor emeritus of civil engineering at McMaster University in Ontario, Canada; Anthony Szamboti, a mechanical design engineer; and Ted Walter, who holds master of public policy degree from the University of California, Berkeley.

The authors cite, among other things, the lack of heat to melt, or adequately weaken, the girders to cause the collapse.

Melted girders was widely reported as a reason  immediately after the attack. This was quickly understood to be impossible, however. In fact, it was even being noted that things didn’t get hot enough to cause enough loss of structural strength.

This paper from the December 2001 issue of JOM, — the member journal of The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society , — is in full agreement with the Jones group on this point. The authors Thomas W. Eagar and Christopher Musso, however, don’t feel the need to deny what was before everyone’s eyes. Their article points out that temperature along the 18-meter long joists was certainly not uniform and that given the thermal expansion of steel, a 300 F temperature difference from one location to another will produce yield-level residual stresses hence causing distortions resulting in buckling failures

Jones et al makes the point that fire never collapsed a skyscraper before 9/11 and has yet to bring one down since.

The rebuttal to this is that jet aircraft have never been flown into skyscrapers before or since. Further, a fire, while not collapsing a skyscraper, did make One Meridan Plaza in Philadelphia unstable enough to cause its demolition.

The Jones article discusses the collapse of the 47-story 7 World Trade Center with no deaths hours after the Twin Towers fell. The official version is that falling debris from the North Tower weakened its structure and caused fires while the Jones group says it had the hallmarks of a controlled demolition. We won’t address the engineering claims but we do find it puzzling that conspirators seeking to bring forth war and the New World Order would bother with bringing down 7 World Trade Center after collapsing the main towers. Europhysics News Trutherism

Regarding the publication of the article by Europhysics News, a cynic might ascribe self promotion or politics. We take a more charitable view.

Not letting dissenters and skeptics air their claims only fans the flames of conspiracy theories. If proponents of global warming theory understood this, their claims — some of them anyway — might be treated with less skepticism by the general public.
