Honor Flight June 2 Returns To Springfield — Honor Flight Philadelphia will be returning 250 Vietnam veterans from a Washington D.C. “Tour of Honor”,Sunday, June 2, to The Porch at The Lamb Tavern, 865 W. Springfield Road, Springfield, Pa. 19064.
Arrival is 6:15 p.m.
Residents are invited to welcome them and give them a thank you. Expect police and fire escorts
Honor Flight Seeks Vietnam Vets — Honor Flight Philadelphia is seeking Vietnam veterans for a June 2 Tour of Honor. These tours give veterans a tour of the memorials in Washington D.C. followed by a dinner.
This trip’s dinner will be at the Lamb Tavern in Springfield.
Also Honor Flight Philadelphia will hold a Designer Bag Bingo fundraiser, March 23 at Saints Simon and Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, Pa. 19382.
Doors open at 6 p.m. The bingo starts at 7 p.m. Admission is $35.
Being auctioned is a Louis Vuitton bag. Raffle tickets are $20 and only 100 will be sold.
Remembrance Day Feast Benefits Honor Flight— Crown Chapter, Daughters of the British Empire will be commemorating Remembrance Day (Veterans Day), 4 -11 p.m., tomorrow, Nov. 19 at Stoney’s British Pub in Wilmington, Del.
There will be raffles and pub trivia games, tea and sticky toffee pudding, and fish and chips.
