Tevin Dix Mingled With Stars

Tevin Dix Mingled With Stars — Drexel Hill’s Tevin Dix braved the freeze and frost to attend The Donald’s second inauguration, Jan. 20. While he couldn’t get into the Capital One festivities, he attended an after-party at Bobby Van’s Grill where he mingled with Shawn DVS, Scott Lobaido, Will Johnson and Ben Bergquam from Real America Voice.

He sent us these pixs:

Alfe Honors Activist And Supporters At Real Hulk Bash

Alfe Honors Activist And Supporters At Real Hulk Bash — Alfe Goodwin, tonight, Jan. 11, held a bash in at Real Hulk Records in Chester to thank her supporters and honor the activists who are turning Southeast Pennsylvania free.

Alfe was the GOP congressional candidate for the 5th District last November. The help she received from the party was not exactly what we would call enthusiastic. The Delaware County Republicans just seem to not want to fight. Unless it’s against Trump supporters maybe.

Honored were activist Sharon Devaney, a children’s author and health specialist who launched campaigns against public school encouragement of child mutilation and Delco’s status as a sanctuary county when it was quite uncool to do so; Antoine Gist, a founding member of Pennsylvania’s Blexit Chapter; Kathy Buckley, the Republican candidate for the 168th District State House seat who suffered vicious smears that went unanswered by the party establishment; Joy Schwartz, who ran for County Council in 2023 and who has been calling attention to election issues, again when it wasn’t a cool thing to do; Mina Quarles of Flip Philly Red, who spoke at President Trump’s June 22 rally at Temple University’s Liacouras Center; Maria Miller, a long-time Republican activist; entrepreneurs and performing artists DJ Se7en and Ali Kelley, who is also a Chester GOP committeeman; and entrepreneur Bruce Banner, who let Real Hulk Studio be used for the event.

Yes, Bruce Banner is his real name.

Oz Sultan, a Republican committeeman from Harlem who has since moved to Wynnewood and is running for office in Montgomery County, was guest speaker.

John McAuley led the pledge of allegiance. A truly sublime moment was when Ms. Lyssa sang the Star Spangled Banner.

After the ceremonies several of the honorees participated in a podcast which we will link to when it becomes available.

There was also food, drink and dancing.

Mission Barbecue was caterer.

Jim Allen Dismisses Poll Pad Shutdown Process

Jim Allen Dismisses Poll Pad Shutdown Process

By Sharon Devaney

Jim Allen, the director of elections for Delaware County, Pa., finally sent me a response to my report about issues with Poll Pads in Haverford Township.

I am the minority inspector in 6-2 in Haverford Township. At the end of the night the poll pads in 6-2, 6-3 and 6-4  did not shut down.

I called for help . I was screamed at by a individual who proceeded to tell me to put the poll pads back into the case with the three poll pads not being shut down properly.

Four us poll workers listened to the rant and had been trying to shut down the devices for near a half hour.

Allen’s response received, Dec. 20, was long. It was practically an essay. He said there were no risk in having the devices stay on unlike what it said in the election manual. He said the integrity of the elections was not in danger.

“We have done more thorough testing of equipment and of poll workers to prevent problems on Election Day,” he said.

I won’t address election integrity issues here but one of the things we poll workers are tested on is how to put away Poll Pads.

What happened was not how we were trained.

Poll workers arrive at their precinct at 6 a.m., an hour before polls open, to set up. Polls close at 8 p.m., or 14 hours after we arrive. We then have to take things down. It used to take us less than an hour. On Nov. 5, we didn’t get out until after 9:30, a nice chunk of which involved trying to shut down your new toys.

As we were trained and tested.

You aren’t making things better Jim.

By the way, you also said “I was not able to verify the call that you described” concerning the rant by the person who we were seeking help from.

That’s troubling. Whoever it was should not be working elections.

Oh, and a couple of printers broke down in the ward. We don’t want to forget that.

GOP Upstart Upsets Incumbent in 8th CD

GOP Upstart Upsets Incumbent in 8th CD

By Bob Small

In Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District GOP challenger Rob Bresnahan, a businessman with no political experience upset Democrat Matt Cartwright, who had a decade in Congress. The tally was 195,663 votes or 50.8 percent to 189,411 or 49.2 percent.

Bresnahan said “I am eager to work for our district,. I give my word that as their congressman, there will be no R or D next to my name, only N-E-P-A.”

Rob Bresnahan joined his grandfather’s electrical business, Kuharchik Construction.

He became CEO in 2019, after graduating the University of Scranton. In 2023, Bresnahan partnered Kuharchik Construction with Midwestern Electric near Chicago. He founded RPB Ventures to re-vitalize his communities.

He is engaged to Chelsea Strub, a news anchor at WNEP-TV.

Matt Cartwright his decade, introduced more bills with Democrat and Republican support than any House democrat. He was named “Bipartisan Champion:” by the Common Ground Committee.

He earned his JD from the University of Pennsylvania’s Law School in 1986. He and his wife Marion have two sons.

Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District is composed of all of Lackawanna, Pike and Wayne counties and parts of Luzerne and Monroe counties. Peter H Kostmeyer (D) served almost 15 years, though not all consecutively (1977-81, 1983-93).

Similarly, Mike Fitzpatrick (2005-07 and 2011-17), followed by his younger brother Brian Fitzpattrick (2017-19), all GOP. In between them was a Democrat, one Patrick Murphy (2007-11).

Obviously, it was not always in NEPA.

But the one Representative who should still be remembered was anti-slavery firebrand Thaddeus Stevens. Though he only served for four years, 1849-53, this Whig, he became a leader of what became known as “the Radical Republicans”. See Thaddeus Stevens for more, including his role in the attempted impeachment of President Andrew Johnson.

Back then, to be called a “Radical Republican” might be considered an honor. Now?

Haverford Election Workers Told To Improperly Return Poll Pads

Haverford Election Workers Told To Improperly Return Poll Pads

By Sharon Devaney

I spoke with several individuals at the Delaware County Bureau of Elections, Friday, about the problems with the poll pads I experienced on this past Election Day .

I also emailed them twice.

I am the minority inspector in 6-2 in Haverford Township. At the end of the night the poll pads in 6-2, 6-3 and 6-4  did not shut down . I called for help . I was screamed at by a individual who proceeded to tell me to put the poll pads back into the case with the three poll pads not being shut down properly. This made the four of us very skeptical about this .

Also the unprofessional and disrespectful shouting at the end of a 12-hour day was absolutely disgraceful.  I was following all the procedures. I am still awaiting a call back to see if anyone has looked into the problem with our poll pads and would like a apology from the individual who was shouting at me . I also requested that the Bureau look into who this was and that they are removed from their position.

On Monday, I informed Delco Director of Elections Jim Allen in person.

He denied ever hearing of it.

By the way, the poll pad in 6-2 did not work in the morning.

We need people who value Delaware County and abide by the lawful procedures and processes of the elections. I will await someones reply .

There were very few incumbents who lost this election cycle in Pennsylvania but GOP challenger Joe Picozzi Picozzi, Dougherty elected in tight Northeast Philadelphia … upset Jimmy Dillon in Pennsylvania’s 5th Senate District. The margin was less than 1 percent.

enate 5th District by less than a margin of 1%.

Picozzi was born and raised in Somerton — which has the area’s best Russian groceries and restaurants now resides in Tacony. He is a graduate of Georgetown University and Majority Leader Congressman Kevin McCarthy.

He becomes the district’s first Republican senator in more than two decades.’

Dillon was a standout Senator Jimmy Dillon: Home point guard for Notre Dame played pro in Europe. He later founded Hoops 24/7 a developmental basketball academy.,

Shawn Dillon, Jimmy’s older brother, was the original candidate but the Dems messed up the paperwork. Jimmy said the homophobic and racist tweets attributed to his basketball business accounts were actually those of others who “had access to his account”. The Democrats also didn’t start spending money on this race until October.

Hey, he’s a Democrat, it’s Philly. What’s to worry? (my quote)

There are about 81,000 registered Dems in the 5th District, as opposed to 45,000 Republicans.and 19,000 other affiliated voters.

The official results are

Joe Picozzi 50.42% 50,526

Jimmy Dillon 49,58% 49,692

Diane Marseglia’s Fearful-Tearful Apology Gets Tevin Treatment

Diane Marseglia’s Fearful-Tearful Apology Gets Tevin Treatment — Diane Marseglia’s fearful-tearful apology, Nov. 20, was witnessed by Delco’s own Tevin Dix.

Ms. Marseglia is the Bucks County commissioner who gave the go-ahead to count votes that had already been ruled invalid by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

Bucks is run by Democrats and Ms. Marseglia chairs its Board of Commissioners.

Her action would have given a significant advantage to incumbent Democrat Sen. Bob Casey in his razor thin loss to Republican Dave McCormick.

What she did is exponentially more damaging to this nation’s history of peaceful transition of power than Bucks County resident Dawn Bancroft ever conceived.

Dawn stepped in and out of the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021 and ended up serving two months in jail with a three-year probation included.

Ms. Marseglia should get at least that.

Bucks County Proves Election Corruption

Bucks County Proves Election Corruption — It’s now well known that Bucks County, Pa. has baldly declared that it will count illegal ballots.

It should put paid to any lingering doubters that those saying massive vote fraud exists in our elections and that Donald Trump likely won in 2020 as well.

One wonders what the Bucks bosses — Democrat — think they are going to get out of it?

If they find the votes to put Casey ahead of McCormick and they are clearly illegal votes by their own admission, how do they expect them to ultimatley count?

The Pennsy Supremes are blatantly partisan D but I think that might be a bridge even too far for them to cross

And if they do, there is still SCOTUS and the civil rights division of the new DOJ, which frankly should be sent to address this anyway.

A friend from Bucks also let us know that a Republican candidate was prepared to challenge 1,194 persons who cast votes who did not appear on Pennsylvania’s Statewide Uniform Registry of Electors (SURE).

A challenge was filed which included a check for $11,940 as challenges require a bond $10 per vote. The candidate was then — incorrectly — informed by a party official that it was a mistake. The names were on SURE, he was told, so he withdrew the challenge before he lost the money.

And 1,194 fraudulent votes were cast.

Establishment Republicans are not your friends my fellow MAGAnificents.

In other news, Eric Coomer, the Dominion Voting Systems honcho, who fought every attempt to allow a transparent audit of his company’s machines has reportedly closed his restaurant in Salida, Co. and left town.

As has his lawyer.
