Trump Pleases Tired Crowd By Postponing Politics For Music In Pa.

Trump Pleases Tired Crowd By Postponing Politics For Music In Pa. — Last night’s (Oct. 14) Trump Town Hall at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pa. will be legendary.

The venue maximum 5,000 crowd — some who can come from as far away as Indiana – packed the poorly ventilated, poorly concessioned facility after standing under the October sun for up to six hours.

When doors finally opened almost an hour behind scheduled about half found they had to continue standing.

The crowd had expected to hear The Donald take questions from audience members then give the expected answers with his trademark wry humor and exaggeration.

After taking a few and recognizing a Gold Star family in attendance, one of the crowd collapsed in a side bleacher. Trump put matters on hold and expressed concern. He obviously feared the worst. He asked that Ave Maria be played on the sound system. The man was carried from his seat and placed on a stretcher. As he was wheeled away, he recovered enough to raise his fist bringing forth loud cheers.

As Trump prepared to take the next question from moderator South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, a person collapsed in the bleachers on the other side. Trump again stopped matters as care was rendered.

Trump then harshly criticized the venue. Ignoring concerns from Secret Service, he ordered the roll-up doors used to truck in vendor displays opened, which greatly improved ventilation.

He then stopped the town hall and played music for the rest of the night to the crowd’s ecstatic delight. Most stayed until Trump finally stepped down from the stage, which was about an hour after the music started. His selection ranged from Pavarotti to Jeff Buckley to Sinéad O’Connor to, of course, The Village People. He ended with November Rain by Guns n’ Roses.

Newswise, long-time Democrat Peter Deutsch, who served more than 20 years as a Florida congressman took the podium to give an enthusiastic endorsement of Trump.

President Trump’s Pennsylvania Rallies

President Trump’s Pennsylvania Rallies — We spent the week chasing President Trump around Pennsylvania.

Saturday, Oct. 5, we were in Butler County for his historic return to where he was almost killed, July 13.

Much has already been said about the event but we’d like to note the crowd size was not exaggerated and it took almost two hours to get to our car, albeit much of that was due to local law enforcement stopping traffic until the President left the venue via motorcade.

The Donald did say he wanted to hear opera singer Christopher Macchio’s post-rally performance.

And J.D. Vance and Elon Musk would certainly make interesting conversation companions.

We’ll note that Trump made the event about Corey Comperatore, who was killed by the assassin while shielding his wife and children, and David Dutch and James Copenhaver, who were seriously injured.

Further, he let Elon Musk and his vice presidential pick J.D. Vance have as much, if not more, of the spotlight as himself.

There is meme of Obama captioned “I need a vice president dumber than me” followed by Biden then Harris saying the same, followed by an uncaptioned photo of pathetic Tim Walz.

Trump, unlike the Dems, has the confidence to appoint an smart guy as running mate.

We stayed at the pleasant Fairfield Inn & Suites in Slippery Rock. It was a great and comfortable place with a great breakfast buffet but Slippery Rock is one heck of a hard place to find food after 10 p.m.

We ended up eating at a bowling alley that was a hangout for teenagers. We found the fried food delicious but that was likely because we were starving.

Also, we sampled Sheetz. Wawa beats it, at least as far as coffee goes.

Yesterday, Oct. 9, we were at Reading’s Santander Arena to hear The Donald give a rousing endorsement to Dave McCormick for U.S. Senator. Also speaking was Vivek Ramaswamy. Trump pointed out he was up in most polls. McCormick also said he was expected to win. Trump, who had spoken in Scranton earlier, talked for nearly two hours.

Pennsylvania Sample Ballot Released

Pennsylvania Sample Ballot Released

By Bob Small

Pennsylvania’s sample ballot for Nov. 5 is out and here is what’s listed. The main party Presidential candidates are Kamala Harris and Donald J. Trump.

The alternative candidates are Libertarian Chase Oliver, famously known for defining himself as “armed and gay”; and Green Party’s Jill Stein who stands for a peace ceasefire in the Middle East, among other stands.

One could also do a write-in vote for Cornell West, who was “lawfared” off the ballot by the Dems.

In the U.S. Senate race Democrat incumbent Robert P. Casey, Jr. is being challenged by Republican Dave McCormick, whom you might remember from losing to Dr. Oz In the Pennsylvania primary two years ago.

Oz lost to John Fetterman in the general election.

The three alternative candidates are Green Party’s Leila Hazou, Constitution Party’s Marty Selker and Libertarian John C. Thomas.

This is one race where the major party choices might encourage one to investigate the Alternative party candidates.

The Attorney General’s features Democrat Eugene De Pasquale taking on Republican Dave Sunday for the seat now held by Michelle A. Henry, who is no seeking re-election.running again.

The alternative party candidates are Libertarian Robert Cowburn, Constitutional Party’s Justin L. Magill; Green Party’s Richard L. Weiss; and Forward Party’s Eric L. Settle.

The Auditor General race has Republican incumbent Tim DeFoor being challenged by Democrat Malcolm Kenyatta.

Long-time Dem Donors Pretend To Be Ex Trump Supporters

Long-time Dem Donors Pretend To Be Ex Trump Supporters — An add featuring two supposedly ordinary Pennsylvanians claiming to be former Trump supporters and lifelong Republicans who are now going to vote for the Democrat candidate.

They say they are turned off by January 6 and Charlottesville,

Oh, the humanity! LOL

Bad Hombre has posted on X that he has found that these “lifelong Republicans’ are Robert Lang and Kristina Chadwick. They own Sugartown Strawberries in Malvern and are rather woke folk.

They have been prolific donors to Democrats for over a decade including to ActBlue, says Hombre.

By the way, Charlottesville has long been know to be an establishment hoax, and Trump is being revealed to have been the good guy on January 6, 2021.

Dave McCormick Stops In Drexel Hill

Dave McCormick Stops In Drexel Hill — Dave McCormick this afternoon, Sept. 24, gave a persuasive list of reasons as to why he should replace the 15-year incumbent at Pennsylvania’s U.S. senator during a campaign stop at Chickie’s and Pete’s in Drexel Hill.

The most persuasive was that the incumbent voted for the Biden-Harris platform 99-percent of the time.

The incumbent’s sainted father is looking down with absolute disgust.

McCormick said this was the most important election in our lives and a Kamala Harris victory would cause misery and penury through the lifetimes of our grandchildren.

He’s right and, yes, that’s an endorsement of Donald Trump.

McCormick is campaigning with Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, the bête noire of Trump supporters.

Except for some women with ties to Georgia, Kemp was generally ignored by the audiance.

McCormick said the polls have closed greatly in his senate race and that he expects to win. He noted that while Democrats had about a one-million voter registration advantage in 2020, that is down now to a tick over 300,000.

Thank you, Scott Pressler.

McCormick gave shout outs to many of the candidates involved in state races and to Alfe Goodwin who is seeking the 5th District congressional seat.

IEPs And Perverted Principals Topic Of Educational Town Hall

IEPs And Perverted Principals Topic Of Educational Town Hall — A town hall, last night, Sept. 23, sponsored by congressional candidate Alfe Goodwin addressed Pennsylvania’s crisis in education. It was held at the Media VFW and drew an active and diverse crowd.

By diverse, we don’t just mean Black and White — although it applies. We mean Republican and Democrat, and city and suburb.

The room was full despite attempts by social media censors to hide the event’s promotion.

Alfe is seeking to unseat the wife of the CEO of high-powered law firm Ballard Spahr to represent Pennsylvania’s 5th District. The district is all of Delaware County along with parts of Montgomery, Philadelphia and Chester counties.

Speakers were NaDerah Griffin, and Sharon Devaney. Ms. Griffin is a former Philadelphia School District educator, who is a mental health specialist, and Sharon M. Devaney is a single mom who described her tribulations with the Haverford School District.

Moderator was Joy Schwartz, a retired Penn Wood teacher who still occasionally substitutes.

Many in the audience also shared their experiences with public education along with other institutions in obvious decline such as the military.

Ms. Griffin noted how the misuse of individual education plans (IEPs) has resulted in numerous children being placed on life-long paths of despair.

“When you pull children out they feel they are dumb,” she says.

She said IEPs can be beneficial. The shortage of teachers, however, in the city schools along with the lack of training for them results in children being diagnosed improperly.

She said situations such as trauma and poverty are incorrectly diagnosed as intellectual problems.

Ms. Devaney described the battles she fought with her district to keep her children from being drugged and bullied.

She said Haverford sought to put her son on an IEP but she fought them and won.

She noted the administration’s indifference, if not actual defense, of high ranking officials who should have been dismissed for extremely inappropriate behavior.

Shelia Armstrong, a North Philadelphia parent-teacher advocate, spoke from the audience. She described how she won a lawsuit against the educational establishment’s failure to uphold the General Assembly’s constitutional obligation to provide a “thorough and efficient” system of public education.

Ms. Armstrong also noted that the teachers unions are blocking needed reform. She cited their refusal to allow cameras in the classroom.

“I’m just so tired of the union right now,” she said. “. . .It’s promoting everything else but education.”

She expressed strong support for school choice.

She said progress is being made, however. Ms. Armstrong pointed out that if a child attacks a school employee, the employee can sue the parents.

Alfe Goodwin is a veteran and a retired Philadelphia police officer, who now teaches in Chester at the Edgmont Scholars Academy.

About 180 students at the school now have IEPs, she said.

Del Vann Inspired Media broadcast the event live and is expected to post a video of it.

Alfe’s opponent has cancelled debates with her, apparently out of fear that she can win.

Green Party On The 2024 Ballot

Green Party On The 2024 Ballot

By Bob Small

Best to clear this up first. As a recovering Green Party member of the once-active Delco Green Party,I can say that he party bureaucracy will never improve.

This year the Green Party of Pennsylvania Green Party of Pennsylvania managed to place three candidates on the ballot. Unofficially — Cornell West is still trying to fight off a challenge -, the other alternative parties candidate tallies are Constitution Party none, Forward Party 2, and Libertarian Party almost a dozen.

The Green’s presidential candidate, Dr. Jill Stein hopes to be on every state Green Party ballot except Alaska (see below).

Richard L. Weiss is the Green Party candidate for Pennsylvania Attorney General. His J. D. is from the University of Denver. Previously, he was a Ford Foundation fellow in Public International Law at Washington D.C.’s American University. His MBA is from the University of Chicago. Among his many opinions are concerns this one on policing: All training and equipment should be devoted to taking suspects alive, and a death considered a failure.

The Green’s Senate candidate is Leila Hazou who received an MBA from Loyola College. She runs a soap and candle store in Milford and is proud to be a successful Palestinian business woman.

Her and her husband live with their menagerie of animals.

The Green Party of Alaska are traditional rebels from the rest of the party.

In 2020 they refused to place Howie Hawkins ticket on the ballot and substituted Jessie Ventura. After this rebellion, they were officially decertified by the national party.

This year, their candidates are Jasmine Sherman and Tanda Blubear. There is plenty of information on both candidates. You may decide to do a write-in. Among their policies are “rights for sentient beings” and |”abolish the police policy”

Why there remains a separate Alaska Green Party remains perplexing, to say the least.

There was no reply from either the National or Pa. Greens to my emails sent two weeks ago about this subject.

Mary Gay Scanlon Fears Debate With Alfe

Mary Gay Scanlon Fears Debate With Alfe — Pennsylvania’s 5th District incumbent Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon is ducking a debate with her challenger Alfe Goodwin.

This is despite Mary Gay being a trained lawyer who had worked forBallard Spahr, one of the nation’s most prestigious law firms, and Alfe being a retired working class Philadelphia cop.

And Black.

And Mary Gay seems to think Black people are not very smart.

Granted Mary Gay’s hubby chairs Ballard Spahr, but obviously she must have talents in making arguments and such.

Right?

She has to be good at something.

She certainly can’t handle food processing.

Here’s Alfe’s challenge to Mary Gay:

For those interested in meeting Alfe, she will be having a Town Hall Town Hall, 6 p.m., Sept. 23 at the Media VFW, 11 Hilltop Road, Media, Pa. 19063.

The topic will be the crisis in education.

Congresswoman Scanlon Calls Black Constituents Stupid

Congresswoman Scanlon Calls Black Constituents Stupid

By Sharon Devaney

Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon’s latest rant about the Save Act degraded many of her constituents in Pennsylvania’s 5th Dstrict. Not only did she defend the illegal aliens living here, but shrugged off those who have had crimes commited against them in Delaware County such as myself.

She also said that those in black communities would have trouble voting if identification should be required. Does she think blacks don’t know how to aquire ID? Black people don’t have bank accounts? What is this woman thinking? This is a racist comment. Mary Gay is literally calling blacks stupid.

Maybe she’s concerned that the black community is waking up, especially after her day of working class virture signaling at a Wawa that only succeeded in getting her hair in cutomers’ shortie hoagies.

She also stated that many don’t have a birth certificate, real ID or a passport and that the Save Act would destroy their ability to vote. This also sounds racist, and from a woman who constantly trashes the MAGA community, which is not a bit racist. We support each other regardless of race or religion.

Elitist Mary Gay has never had to worry about income or groceries. Her husband runs Ballard Spahr, after all.

Maybe she should sit down and have a chat with myself and Alfe Goodman — the former cop and military veteran who hopefully replaces her as congresswoman. She can see how really those are who are hardworking, God loving supporters of President Trump and JD Vance.

Oh, and regard to Mary Gay’s sneers at those concerned about election integrity: Why does Delaware County fight open record requests on election matters even when the state Office of Open Records rules against them?

There’s got to be a logical explanation, right?

Oh. Wait. There is.

Here is Mary Gay’s strange and bigoted rant against the Save Act:

And here is a chance to meet her opponent Alfe Goodwin.
