Manfred Von Richtofen, The Red Baron, bought a little puppy he thought was going to be a "lap dog". The pup grew up to be a Great Dane. Richtofen and the dog, who he named "Moritz" became inseparable. The huge dog not only slept in the same bed but accompanied the flying ace on flights. Once the playful canine while chasing a rolling airplane ran into a propeller.
