Bourbon must be made from 51-percent corn mash.  So why isn’t that corn whiskey? Corn whiskey requires an 80 percent corn mash. 

OK, Bourbon must also be made in the USA.

Lee de Forest didn’t quite get how the amplifying vacuum tube worked but he invented it anyway. It ame possible radio broadcasting, long distance phone calls and talking motion pictures.

The 5,000-year-old mysterious Rujm el-Hiri in the Golan Heights is thought to have taken at least 25,000 working days to build. 

The consensus is that it was some kind of calendar.

Farmers don’t use the classic silo for making silage that much anymore. Silage is preservable, easily digestible livestock feed made from fodder once fermented in the silos. Coverings of modern, airtight, waterproof material have been found to be far more effective to do the job, and much more cheaper.
