Komen Fundraisers Missing Targets

Donations are way down at Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

The group founded to raise money for breast cancer research announced Feb. 2 that it was ending grants to Planned Parenthood due to the legal entanglements in which the abortion provider had enmeshed itself as well as the realization that providing abortions did not really have all that much to do with breast cancer research.
Well,  the limo-riding, catered-lunch-imbibing One Percenters had a fit and a day later the decision was reversed.
Unfortunately for Komen, this enlightened many supporters as to where  its money was going, and now they feel much less kindly towards it.
Komen has revealed that it has been unable to reach its goals in at least two of the five fundraisers since the kerfuffle.

Specifically cited were races in Lafayette, La, and Fort Worth, Texas.

Hey, who needs those hillbillies anyway. They all probably like Rick Santorum and Sarah Palin.

Now, where is that limo. I have a catered lunch to attend to raise money for Occupy Wall Street.

Oh, a free tip to those who run charities — church-going conservatives are far, far, far more generous with their money than the catered-lunchers.
