Vance Upbeat About The Economy And Election— Vice President JD Vance, this morning, Dec. 16, gave an upbeat report on the Turmp economy.

The talk was at the Uline distribution center in Lower Macungie in Lehigh County.

Vance pointed out that the purchasing power of the average income dropped more than $3,000 during the Biden years and has since snapped back by about $1,000 in the 11 months of Trump’s second term.

He said that an uptick in unemployment is due to new job seekers rather than layoffs.

This is because unemployment stats don’t include those not looking for work.

These people are now seeking work.

Vance said that more than 600,000 people have been hired in the last year, the vast majority being native born Americans in private sector jobs.

He said layoffs have been overwhelmingly in government jobs or by workers who had entered the country illegally.

He noted that rent has dropped for four straight months due to illegals being sent home.

Vance said pharmaceutical costs are dropping due to pressure Trump has place on pharma executives.

He said oil production is going to boom. He said this should cut the cost of energy which should cut inflation which has already been checked.

Vance said legislation passed by the Republicans is going to make this tax season happier tax season than in those in the recent past.

Vance said he thought the midterm elections will be much better for Republicans that what conventional wisdom is saying.

If he is right about the economy, he will be right about the elections.

Other speakers included Pennsylvania Treasurer Stacy Garrity, the front-runner for GOP gubernatorial nominee ; Congressman Ryan Mackenzie, who represents the district; and Secretary of Labor Lori Chavez-DeRemer.
