Shapiro Critic Committed To Montco Mental Hospital; State Won’t Say Why; Drugs Being Forced — Our good friend Sean Connolly committed to a Montgomery County medical hospital, March 19.
Why?
We’re sure there is an official reason, albeit the authorities aren’t saying what it might be.
The real one, though is that Sean has been a fearless and indefatigable critic of Pennsylvania Tyrant Josh Shapiro, along with the corrupt cronyists rulers of Montgomery County.
Sean was taken away on a 303 order which allows for long-term incarceration.
Attorney Renee Mazer says Sean is confined, isolated, denied records, denied meaningful counsel, and threatened with involuntary administration of psychotropic medication.
This is in violation of state law.
She says the state has still not produced still have not produced the order or record that supposedly justifies continued detention.
She is demanding immediate production of the § 303 order, transcript, certification, physician evaluations, all versions of the § 302 and § 303 paperwork, police and county records relied upon in the detention, and all records necessary to identify the judicial officer or Mental Health Review Officer who signed or certified the commitment.
Also being sought is the immediate preservation and production of communications sufficient to identify the persons who initiated, reviewed, approved, or continued the detention, including emails, texts, internal messages, and telephone logs involving Respondents and Montgomery County officials responsible for involuntary commitment matters, including communications involving the County Solicitor where applicable.
Maybe most significantly is the request for immediate protection against involuntary psychotropic medication.
Sean is being held at Brooke Glen Behavioral Hospital in Fort Washington.
He wants immediate release or a show-cause order within 24 hours.
