The 6th Of June When Freedom Won

The decisive battle in the war for freedom occurred 68 years ago today when American, British and Canadian troops successfully landed in Normandy forcing the Nazis to fight on two fronts.

The left who control our schools and media like to credit the communist Soviets with beating Hitler and point to steady gains made on the Russian front in the year before the good guys landed in Europe. What is ignored is the cost of those gains that led Stalin to contemplate a separate peace, and  the German collapse that occurred on that front in the months after D-Day.
This is not a surprise as the left also willfully ignores that Stalin was Hitler’s very first ally and the communist were every bit as responsible for starting World War II as the Nazis. The Soviets had made a treaty with the Germans that led them to attack Poland from the east while they were still putting up a stiff resistance to the invasion from the west. Without this treaty, the war would likely have not happened.
So a sincere thanks from the generations that followed to the ever-shrinking group of men who served in World War II and saved the world.
