Simple Delicious Navy Bean Soup –It is getting to be soup season and we will share with you a no brainer recipe that makes several delicious meals.
It requires one pound of dried navy beans (unsoaked, that’s important, unsoaked albeit you should rinse them), a cup of chopped ham ( bonus if you got a bone), one diced onion, one chopped small carrot and two packets of chicken bullion.
Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a gallon pot, and sauté the carrot, onion and ham until the veggies are soft. Add the beans and the bone if you have one and fill the pot. Season generously with salt and pepper and bring to a boil. Add the bullion and then let simmer for a few hours until the beans are soft. It’s even better the next day.
Sandwiches make a good side but we had fried green tomatoes as the tomatoes are still being found in our garden.
We made the tradition coating of flour, egg and breadcrumbs with salt and pepper added to the flour. We fried them in butter.

Following the luncheon will be an Issues that Women Care About panel presentation with a keynote speech by noted political scientist and frequent cable news commentator Carol Swain and panelists Kathy Barnette; Maria Espinoza, national director of The Remembrance Project; and Monica Burke of the Heritage Foundation.
The Pennsylvania Leadership Conference is the premiere gathering of public policy conservatives each year in the Keystone State. It is the largest and longest-running of the state-based conservative conferences regularly attracting a long list of conservative elected officials, scholars, journalists and activists for two days of speeches, panel presentations, workshops and networking.

Black Abortion Billboard Red Pill — Every now and then some crazy rumor pops up in Black neighborhoods about a White establishment plot to wipe out the Black race and the rumor is believed without question.
Meanwhile someone rents a billboard and promotes a policy baldly declaring a goal of depopulating those with dark skin and shoulders get shrugged. Hey, social justice. The renter is progressive.
Blacks make up about 12 percent of the population of the United States but have 39 precent of abortions. If you are a Black person shouldn’t that make you go hmmmm? Did you ever see a billboard saying White women take care of your families by having an abortion?
Yes, the abortion movement was started and remains motivated by racism. It is safe to say that while not everyone who supports Planned Parenthood is a racist, all racists support Planned Parenthood and unrestricted abortion.
If you are Black, the billboard pictured above placed by the Afiya Center outside Dallas last summer should be more than enough of a “red pill” to make you understand that those Bible-clinging folk out in the sticks who think abortion is bad regardless of skin color; who defend the 2nd Amendment and understand full-well it includes Blacks; and think parents should have the power to pull their kids out of bad schools are actually your friends.

Boeing MH-139 To Be Built In Delco, Philly — Boeing has won a $2.4 billion contract to replace UH-1 N Huey helicopters that were icons in the Vietnam War and which are now tasked to guard U.S. nuclear missile bases.
The new MH-139 is derived from the Italian AW139, a commercial helicopter developed by AgustaWestland, which is now a subsidiary of Italy’s Leonard S.p.A.
It’s a big boon for the Philadelphia area.
The choppers will be assembled at Leonard’s plant in Northeast Philadelphia with the military stuff added at Boeing’s Ridley Park facility.
