God vs Nothing

God vs Nothing — A comic neatly sums up and destroys the philosophy of the nihilist hipsters who now sit in the drivers seat of our culture.

Charlie Off Ballot In Delco

Charlie Off Ballot In Delco — The Delaware County (Pa) Republican Party has successfully removed Charlie Alexander of Marple from the ballot for the May 20 primary election.

Despite Charlie getting 1,500 petition signatures for the County Council race.

The challenge concerned the filing of a financial statement.

It was likely an inadvertent misreading of requirements and easily corrected.

Those who enforce the election code are notorious for their insistence on obeying every jot and tittle of it.

At least for those who run against the establishment.

We are not fans of Charlie and we are confident that he would have fairly lost to party-endorsed Liz Piazza and  Brian Burke.

It remains, however, an extremely boneheaded move by GOP leaders which they have compounded with a crowing statement dissing Charlie’s supporters, most of whom are honest, very hard working activists and wonderful people.

You know, the kind you want on your side.

We plan on writing in Sharon Devaney and then backing the GOP ticket for the general as it is about the only way of saving Delco from the mind-blowing corruption that effuses the county Democrats like odor from a rock-concert port-a-potty.

We’d also like to point out that we generally like GOP Chairman Frank Agovino and his leadership team. We have no plans to pile on other than to point out that they really screwed up here.

Charlie Alexander and Sharon Devaney in more peaceful times. Unity is necessary to save Delco

Crowing was unwise. Charlie got 1 percent of Delco’s registered GOP voters to sign his petition without much help. Only a bonehead would think an election can’t be decided by 1 percent.

Judicial Watch And Who They Watch

Judicial Watch And Who They Watch

By Bob Small

Judicial Watch is a “conservative non-partisan educational foundation” whose motto is Because no one is above the law”. This group, which we also learnt about at the annual Bill of Rights Banquet, is in the news.

It has over 60 major legal wins since 2001 albeit few against Republican administrations.

One crusade concerns the extraordinarily extreme roadblocks created by authorities against those with whom they disagree.

While few of their fights are in support of traditionally liberal causes a recent one focused on animal rights, namely the controversial killing of the pet squirrel Peanut by New York State.

And they also took on former Vice-President Dick Cheney, which they unfortunately lost.

Judicial Watch has been praised by The New York Times as being “the group has forced the release of government records that would otherwise have been kept from the public.” quote from NY Times as per Wikipedia

All sides recognize Judicial Watch as conservative.

Judicial Watch notes though that corruption is nonpartisan and does not occur in one specific ideology.

A group that watches Judicial Watch is Democracy Docket which takes issue with Judicial Watch  lawsuit to purge thousands of voters in Pennsylvania.

Democracy Docket, by the way, was founded in 2020 by Democratic Party lawyer Marc Elias. Democracy Docket They have the support of Hillary Clinton and Eric Holder

We’ll be curious to see the actions of Judicial Watch over Trump’s current term.

Answer to yesterday’s puzzle: The first day of spring is one thing, and the first spring day is another. The difference between them is sometimes as great as a month.
