Ken Lawrence Runs SEPTA — SEPTA trains across the Philadelphia region are cancelled today, Oct. 6, and the Route 101 trolley remains closed due to the Sept. 25 accident that injured 10 near the Scenic Road station in Springfield.
That was when an power line fell on it. We can’t remember such a think happening in the 60-plus years we have resided in Springfield.
The closures are per orders of the National Transportation Safety Board.
SEPTA has been run by Ken Lawrence since Feb. 22, 2024.
He is a former Montgomery County commissioner.
