8chan Watkins Posobiec Interview

8chan Watkins Posobiec Interview — 8chan owner Jim Watkins, yesterday, Sept. 6, told OANN’s Jack Posobiec that his feared free speech site will soon be back and that he will continue his policy of not proactively censoring speech. It would be unAmerican to do otherwise he said.

8chan was forced off the web, Aug. 5, after the mass shootings two days earlier in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio. Big tech web security firm Cloudflare killed 8chan as a client after they accused it of inspiring the shootings by allowing the posting of a manifesto by El Paso killer Patrick Crusius.

Watkins has pointedly noted that Crusius had posted his screed on mainstream Instagram and that it was someone else who put it up on 8chan as others did on other boards.

Let’s note that it was Facebook that allowed the live streaming of the New Zealand mosque massacre, YouTube that allowed threats by Parkland killer Nikolas Cruz, and Twitter who let their platform be used by the Saudis to stifle dissent.

It’s the epitome of irony that 8chan is being attacked by the establishment as a “hate site”.

Watkins testified before the House Homeland Security Committee, Sept. 5, in a closed-door session. Watkins told Posobiec that he described his site, and explained that it wasn’t funded by any foreign governments. He said he never worked with a foreign intelligence agency. He noted that Russia has blocked access to 8chan.

Watkins said he cooperates with U.S. law enforcement agencies and that, in fact, Congress and the executive branch should seek input from tech companies to make it easier to do so.

Here is the interview.

OK, here’s a link to the full interview:

Forgive the nasty label they give Posobiec, a Norristown native. He is a outspoken Qanon skeptic and 8chan is the official medium of the Q movement.

Andy Rubin Sex Ring Alleged

In the latest chapter of depravities of the rich and progressive, we learn that Android co-founder Andy Rubin’s ex-wife Rie Hirabaru Rubin is seeking to annul a pre-nuptial agreement she signed before their 2009 marriage on the grounds that Andy was running a sex ring during their marriage among other things.

Andy allegedly paid women hundreds of thousands of dollars to be “owned” by him. Among their tasks were servicing other men so that Andy could either watch or join in for threesomes.

Andy was also a top dog at Google until he was forced to flee with a $90 million comp package in 2014 after a female co-worker accused him of forcing her to perform on him oral sex in a hotel room.

That’s sodomy, by the way, and yes it is a crime. Guess being a Google exec gives you a $90 million get-out-of-jail free card.

Android is the best selling OS for smart phones. These guys are our moral arbiters or are at least trying to be.

Deleting Alexa Commands

Deleting Alexa Commands — It’s being claimed that there is a new voice command that allows you to delete the directions you’ve given Amazon Alexa. Simply say “Alexa, delete everything I said today.” Apparently it only works for a partial day though.

Frankly, we don’t trust anything claimed for Sleepless in Seattle.

Princeton IoT Inspector Monitors Alexa While She Monitors You

Princeton IoT Inspector Monitors Alexa While She Monitors You — Alexa, who is listening in? Good luck with getting an answer. Actually, she’ll refrence a 1979 song by the Northern Irish group The Undertones.

If you wish to learn who is monitoring your life while you think Seattle’s Mata Hari is sound asleep, check out the Princeton IoT Inspector from Princeton University.

IoT means “internet of things.”

Princeton describes the Inspector as an open-source desktop tool with a one-click install process that lets you automatically discovers IoT devices and analyzes their network traffic and helps you identify security and privacy issues with graphs and tables

The Inspector requires minimal technical skills and no special hardware as Princeton notes.

Hat tip to DuckDuckGo, Chester County’s very own Google slayer.

Goolag Archipelago For Patrick Moore

Goolag Archipelago For Patrick Moore — Patrick Moore’s environmentalist creds are beyond dispute.

Moore, a Canadian with a Ph.d in forestry, was with Greenpeace at the start. He was president of Greenpeace Foundation in the late 1970s and largely responsible for reorganizing it as Greenpeace International during a time of controversy, crisis and debt.

He is considered one of the founders of the group.

Or had been anyway.

On March 2, Moore blistered “The New Green Deal” plan broached by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the feckless and extremely stupid new congresswoman from New York’s 14th District, calling her a “pompous little twit” and pointing out her bizarre fantasy would bring about “mass death”.

He doubled down a week or so later on Fox & Friends adding that “The whole climate crisis is not only Fake News, it’s Fake Science. There is no climate crisis, there’s weather and climate all around the world, and in fact carbon dioxide is the main building block of all life.”

This quote was tweeted by President Trump on March 12.

Anyway, Moore noticed on March 16 that his photo which had long appeared in Google searches for”Who are the founders of Greenpeace” had been removed.

It had been there two days earlier.

Google’s action was something Moore had expected as he had saved screenshots, which are included below.

Moore did not seem particularly upset with the loss of credit but was alarmed at the implications of “Tech Tyranny.”

As all who love freedom should be.

The wannabe kings and queens of Silicon Valley and Wall Street have no problem disappearing someone who is an impediment to their vision of a harshly regulated progressive paradise.

We suspect they’d have no problem forcing them from their job, stealing their home and even stealing their life if they should feel they could get away with it.

Google is a treasonous enemy. It should be broken up — at the least — as Standard Oil was in 1911. There is no reason for the largest search engine, the largest internet video service (YouTube),the largest mobile operating system (Android) and the most used browser (Chrome) to be under the same roof.

If you don’t feel like waiting for the law, here are some steps you can take yourself.

For Millennials who might miss the allusion in the headline it is to The Gulag Archipelago by  Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn that describes the horrors that existed in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

Note the word “socialist”.

Yes children, “the power of the collective through community” means slavery and misery for you and those you care about.

Lamar Smith Swirls To Retirement — Sometimes it seems as though the swamp isn’t draining but it is.  Congressman Lamar Smith (R-Tx21), chairman of the House Science, Space and Technology Committee, has announced that he won’t be seeking re-election after 16 terms in office.

For some of Smith’s (not-so) great accomplishments that we have recorded on these pages click here and here.

Goodby and good riddance, Lamar.

Obama Beats Comcast Huck Says

Obama Beats Comcast Huck Says— Former Arkansas Gov. and GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee uses Philly-based Comcast as does many unfortunate others. He recently expressed his opinion of them in a series of tweets.

Hey Mike, Comcast has one good point. It makes you able to tolerate Verizon.

Is @comcast the United AL version of cable/internet/phone? Has anyone else had DEPLORABLE dealings with @comcast? &string

By the time @comcast shows up to fix THEIR problems after they missed THEIR appt today, my 5 year old grandson will be graduating college.

Mafia better service than @comcast Sure they shoot you, but it’s over with and they don’t charge you for the bullet.

How bad is @comcast service? I’d rather have Obama back as President than have Comcast.

Mac Verizon Email Settings

Verizon has told customers in the Philadelphia that they must change their email settings by June 9 from incoming.verizon.net and outgoing.verizon.net to pop.verizon.net and smtp.verizon.net respectively. Mac Verizon Email Settings Verizon has told customers in the Philadelphia that they must change their email settings by June 9 from incoming.verizon.net and outgoing.verizon.net to pop.verizon.net and smtp.verizon.net respectively

It should be a pretty easy thing but if one has one of the newer Mac OS’s one might be finding himself going a little nuts as the pop setting might be grayed out in the accounts preferences.

So here is the simple solution courtesy of nude-webdesign.com:

Select the account you want to change, uncheck ‘Automatically detect and maintain account settings’, save — you will be prompted when you close the account preferences box, then return to the account and edit the Incoming Mail Server.

Ben Farrell Apple Expose

It’s a time-tested rule-of-thumb that the ones who most loudly proclaim their compassion, open mindedness and altruism are the cruelest, most bigoted and greediest. Silicon Valley proves this rule. The companies that are most supportive of the Democrat Party and most insistent upon “social justice” are the world’s most predatory capitalists and the least tolerant of diversity and dissenting views. Ben Farrell Apple Expose

Ben Farrell, an Australian policemen who emigrated to the U.S. to work at Apple, has written an expose on the company’s  cult-like business model and rather inhumane treatment of its workers.

Here is an excerpt from his article: I Quit: What Really Goes On At Apple published on April 6, 2015 on his site Road Less Travelled.

By Ben Farrell

I’ve just escaped the Apple institution. I’ve sent in my resignation, and fled down its bright white corridors curated by crass colourful pictures of iPhones past. I handed in my security pass and in return I was able to re-claim my creativity, individuality and free thinking from the secure Apple cloak room.

Finally now, for the first time in two years, I feel light, creative and inspired. I am again an individual with my own creative ideas, perceptions, values and beliefs. It may take me a while, but from what I believe – I’m now able to express such beliefs again. I am no longer part of the collective  iCult machine whose dirty, worn-out, greasy and naive internal mechanisms of bullying, harassment and mind-games push out shiny and polished iPhones every year. I AM FREE

It is ironic that one of the world’s largest companies and one that prides itself on innovation, creativity and ‘breaking the mould’, operates on such soul limiting entrenched dogma. It’s an organised boys club where perception is valued over substance and tenure over talent. I spent two years in the Apple camp managing customer service improvement for their technical support contact centres and out of the fifteen plus years working in this industry I’ve never witnessed so many bizarre and unprofessional things, only some of which I have time to touch on here.

I found Apple to be a sheltered workshop. The common language spoken being passive aggression, sarcasm and Kool-Aid fuelled stories of ‘success’ designed to manipulate and intimidate naive workers who have never experienced corporate life outside the Apple walls. Like the Chinese emperors believed the forbidden city in Beijing was the centre of the universe and constructed their empire around it, I’m sure that some people at Apple feel the same… Is it a coincidence that the new Apple Campus looks like a giant spaceship? Maybe the plan is for everyone to drink poisoned ‘kool-Aid’ before ascending to the mothership… Sounds like I got out just in time.

Even after-work beers were a strange affair. Drinks with colleagues revolved around the same stories told again and again as drunken management spoke of times when Apple executives made ‘strategic’ decisions to cut jobs and shut down Apple sites so swiftly and carelessly. Like boy-scouts around a campfire, employees eyes would glow and twinkle at this notion of power and embrace these stories with awe but with utter disrespect for the actions Apple has on the broader community of contractors, vendors, partners, resellers and business partners they have bent over a barrel of non-profitability. Remarks such as “… to make a decision that affects so many lives and so many jobs so quickly like that shows the sheer level on which they (Apple executive management) operate… Amazing” were common dialogue around Friday beers. In my opinion a monkey can cut jobs, but at Apple the strangest things are revered.

Sixteen hour days are filled with meetings after meetings followed by more meetings. Whilst this is somewhat standard in most organisations, meetings at Apple wreaked of toxic agendas designed to deliberately trip people up, make fools of the less respected and call people out. Team spirit is non existent as ‘internal customers’ attack individuals and push agendas that satisfy their morning egos. Hours upon hours were wasted in meetings to prepare for meetings in preparation for other meetings to the point where little work actually got done. These rehearsals – called ‘dry runs’ (to me it sounds like something you’d pick up from South East Asian street food) – were meetings to refine impressions and push agendas… how to get the impressions right. How to bend, twist and polish data to tell the story you were instructed to tell… Not the reality the data presents. If a story can’t be forged, the data is excluded.

I had organised a day off recently where all my family were visiting me from interstate. Despite this I had agreed to dial in to one conference call as the audience attending was ‘important’. Well it seems Important but disrespectful, as the audience never even turned up, yet I was still made to ‘dry-run’ the whole meeting from start to finish for an hour and a half as if there was full attendance and interest in what I was saying. So, as the food I had prepared for my family went cold, there I was stuck on the phone role-playing a fake menial meeting to satisfy managements ego.

Sickness, family emergencies, and even weddings are given no respect at Apple. When I started my role I missed one business trip as my wife was pregnant, fell down the stairs and had to be hospitalised – this was listed as a ‘performance issue’ on my record and brought up during a one on one with management as a major ‘miss’ on my behalf. Meetings at midnight were also common place where I was always asked to present something menial (again to be seen), however even then I wasn’t allowed to simply speak to my topic but instead I was fed scripts by management through instant message with countdowns included about how long I had left to speak (“1 min 30 secs left”… “too long…”, “wrap it up”…).
