8chan Watkins Posobiec Interview

8chan Watkins Posobiec Interview — 8chan owner Jim Watkins, yesterday, Sept. 6, told OANN’s Jack Posobiec that his feared free speech site will soon be back and that he will continue his policy of not proactively censoring speech. It would be unAmerican to do otherwise he said.

8chan was forced off the web, Aug. 5, after the mass shootings two days earlier in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio. Big tech web security firm Cloudflare killed 8chan as a client after they accused it of inspiring the shootings by allowing the posting of a manifesto by El Paso killer Patrick Crusius.

Watkins has pointedly noted that Crusius had posted his screed on mainstream Instagram and that it was someone else who put it up on 8chan as others did on other boards.

Let’s note that it was Facebook that allowed the live streaming of the New Zealand mosque massacre, YouTube that allowed threats by Parkland killer Nikolas Cruz, and Twitter who let their platform be used by the Saudis to stifle dissent.

It’s the epitome of irony that 8chan is being attacked by the establishment as a “hate site”.

Watkins testified before the House Homeland Security Committee, Sept. 5, in a closed-door session. Watkins told Posobiec that he described his site, and explained that it wasn’t funded by any foreign governments. He said he never worked with a foreign intelligence agency. He noted that Russia has blocked access to 8chan.

Watkins said he cooperates with U.S. law enforcement agencies and that, in fact, Congress and the executive branch should seek input from tech companies to make it easier to do so.

Here is the interview.

OK, here’s a link to the full interview:

Forgive the nasty label they give Posobiec, a Norristown native. He is a outspoken Qanon skeptic and 8chan is the official medium of the Q movement.

Andy Rubin Sex Ring Alleged

In the latest chapter of depravities of the rich and progressive, we learn that Android co-founder Andy Rubin’s ex-wife Rie Hirabaru Rubin is seeking to annul a pre-nuptial agreement she signed before their 2009 marriage on the grounds that Andy was running a sex ring during their marriage among other things.

Andy allegedly paid women hundreds of thousands of dollars to be “owned” by him. Among their tasks were servicing other men so that Andy could either watch or join in for threesomes.

Andy was also a top dog at Google until he was forced to flee with a $90 million comp package in 2014 after a female co-worker accused him of forcing her to perform on him oral sex in a hotel room.

That’s sodomy, by the way, and yes it is a crime. Guess being a Google exec gives you a $90 million get-out-of-jail free card.

Android is the best selling OS for smart phones. These guys are our moral arbiters or are at least trying to be.

Gamaliel vs Wikipedia Correction Project

Gamaliel vs Wikipedia Correction Project — Emmy-award winning journalist Sharyl Attkisson, who had been CBS’ D.C.-based investigative journalist and a substitute anchor for CBS Evening News before falling out of the grace of the network’s leftist overseers because she dared question activities of the Obama Administration, is battling Wikipedia.

Wikipedia, she says, refuses to correct biographical information even when demonstrably shown to be false. She has started the Wikipedia Correction Project (WCP) to fix things.

She says the goal is to make additional information that is censored on Wikipedia available elsewhere

This has angered a Wikipedia editor who who tweets with the Biblical handle Gamaliel, and apparently edits with an agenda.

Fascinating to watch small-time grifters attempt to demonize/monetize @Wikipedia in the same way more successful grifters like Ann Coulter and Sarah Palin have done with the media, Gamaliel tweeted about the proven and trusted Ms. Attkisson.

Fuck off and die, the intellectual, fair and neutral Gamaliel tweeted about Mike Pence’s praise of Martin Luther King Jr.

I think we can safely say that Wikipedia, at least with regard to edits made by Gamaliel, is not a fair and trustworthy source, and that his namesake would not be impressed.

Ms. Attksson now hosts the Sinclair Broadcast Group’s Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson, which unfortunately cannot be found on air in Philadelphia but which fortunately can be found online.

By the way, another way to have fun with Wikipedia is to sign up for Dissenter and edit Wikipedia articles that way. Granted only other Dissenter users can see the edits but there are more Dissenters every day.

Deleting Alexa Commands

Deleting Alexa Commands — It’s being claimed that there is a new voice command that allows you to delete the directions you’ve given Amazon Alexa. Simply say “Alexa, delete everything I said today.” Apparently it only works for a partial day though.

Frankly, we don’t trust anything claimed for Sleepless in Seattle.

Hat tip Duck Duck Go, which is Proactive in Paoli.

Princeton IoT Inspector Monitors Alexa While She Monitors You

Princeton IoT Inspector Monitors Alexa While She Monitors You — Alexa, who is listening in? Good luck with getting an answer. Actually, she’ll refrence a 1979 song by the Northern Irish group The Undertones.

If you wish to learn who is monitoring your life while you think Seattle’s Mata Hari is sound asleep, check out the Princeton IoT Inspector from Princeton University.

IoT means “internet of things.”

Princeton describes the Inspector as an open-source desktop tool with a one-click install process that lets you automatically discovers IoT devices and analyzes their network traffic and helps you identify security and privacy issues with graphs and tables

The Inspector requires minimal technical skills and no special hardware as Princeton notes.

Hat tip to DuckDuckGo, Chester County’s very own Google slayer.

Julian Assange Newsweek Article From 2014

Julian Assange Newsweek Article From 2014 — It pleases us to find journalism committed where it is not expected so this extract from Julian Assange’s book When Google Met WikiLeaks is a pleasure as it was published by the usually unreliable Newsweek on Oct. 23, 2014.

Julian Assange Newsweek Article From 2014

The extract — which can also be found on Wikileaks — notes that Google is intrinsically part of the globalist “deep state” and is actually pretty evil.

For what it’s worth, we think Assange is a good guy/white hat/hero without whom the vile Hillary Clinton would be our president.

Assange can’t be a traitor to America as he is not an American. For any other crimes he may have committed, seven years incarceration in an Ecuadorian embassy is more than sufficient punishment.

Goolag Archipelago For Patrick Moore

Goolag Archipelago For Patrick Moore — Patrick Moore’s environmentalist creds are beyond dispute.

Moore, a Canadian with a Ph.d in forestry, was with Greenpeace at the start. He was president of Greenpeace Foundation in the late 1970s and largely responsible for reorganizing it as Greenpeace International during a time of controversy, crisis and debt.

He is considered one of the founders of the group.

Or had been anyway.

On March 2, Moore blistered “The New Green Deal” plan broached by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the feckless and extremely stupid new congresswoman from New York’s 14th District, calling her a “pompous little twit” and pointing out her bizarre fantasy would bring about “mass death”.

He doubled down a week or so later on Fox & Friends adding that “The whole climate crisis is not only Fake News, it’s Fake Science. There is no climate crisis, there’s weather and climate all around the world, and in fact carbon dioxide is the main building block of all life.”

This quote was tweeted by President Trump on March 12.

Anyway, Moore noticed on March 16 that his photo which had long appeared in Google searches for”Who are the founders of Greenpeace” had been removed.

It had been there two days earlier.

Google’s action was something Moore had expected as he had saved screenshots, which are included below.

Moore did not seem particularly upset with the loss of credit but was alarmed at the implications of “Tech Tyranny.”

As all who love freedom should be.

The wannabe kings and queens of Silicon Valley and Wall Street have no problem disappearing someone who is an impediment to their vision of a harshly regulated progressive paradise.

We suspect they’d have no problem forcing them from their job, stealing their home and even stealing their life if they should feel they could get away with it.

Google is a treasonous enemy. It should be broken up — at the least — as Standard Oil was in 1911. There is no reason for the largest search engine, the largest internet video service (YouTube),the largest mobile operating system (Android) and the most used browser (Chrome) to be under the same roof.

If you don’t feel like waiting for the law, here are some steps you can take yourself.

For Millennials who might miss the allusion in the headline it is to The Gulag Archipelago by  Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn that describes the horrors that existed in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

Note the word “socialist”.

Yes children, “the power of the collective through community” means slavery and misery for you and those you care about.

Fastest Growing Social Media Platform Is Gab

Gab.com — a social media alternative to Facebook and Twitter — has published the below statement regarding its commitment to free speech and noting that now the fastest growing social media platform in the world. It’s worth posting here considering the revelations of Orwellian group-think coming out of Silicon Valley.

Gab.com operates according to one principal rule: if speech is allowed under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and our User Guidelines, it is allowed on our site. This is because, per Sir Stephen Sedley in the seminal English free speech case DPP v. Redmond-Bate, “freedom only to speak inoffensively is not worth having.”

We are proud to have recently met our fundraising goal of $1.07m raised directly from The People. We have made considerable progress this month making Gab the home of free speech, free association, and the free market online. This includes an update to our mute system that gives more control to individual users to shape their own experience. Unfortunately we still have not been able to get a new payment processor, although we are accepting checks to our PO Box and will be integrating bitcoin as a payment option shortly.

On a daily basis, our company uses the protection afforded by the First Amendment, federal data privacy law, and American global hegemony to provide a utility for users all over the world, wheresoever they might be, to publish their innermost thoughts and engage in open dialogue without fear of recrimination from unfriendly and repressive governments. Put another way, we structure our affairs to afford all our users the full measure of due process rights available in the United States.

As a result, Gab is now the fastest-growing social media platform in the world. We have acquired over 800,000 users and new Gabbers are joining the site at a rate of nearly 100,000 a month from across the planet. Gab has over 10.6 million visits a month and is quickly becoming a home for those who wish to think, speak, and express themselves freely.

One unintended consequence of our moderation policy is that Gab has attracted, shall we say, a colorful user base. Most if not all of the team, from the CEO down to our external contractors and service providers, can find an enormous amount of content on the site which we each find morally or politically objectionable, even personally hateful.

However, we understand that adopting a moderation policy that mirrors the First Amendment will result in users of our site expressing views with which we disagree, including “the thought that we hate.” See Matal v. Tam, 582 U.S. ___ (2017). We do not, unlike virtually every other social media company in existence, think we have any right to try to change what our users think.

The mainstream media strongly implies that Gab’s provisioning of a forum for this speech runs the risk of encouraging expression “(escalating) from online speech to real-world action.” We dissent. Hateful speech may be found on every platform with millions of users, including Twitter and Facebook; Gab is not alone in this regard.

Furthermore, we actively monitor the site for speech that crosses the line from the merely outrageous into the truly threatening or unlawful. Where criminal activity is brought to our attention, we act swiftly to curtail it and, where possible, cooperate with law enforcement to ensure our users’ safety – real, physical, safety, not wishy-washy millennial “safe space” safety – is secured.

When one creates a space where controversial speech is permitted, controversial speech should be expected. This is only news for anyone who doesn’t understand what “free speech” actually means. And today, Gab stands as the largest social network in the world that willing to take the heat involved in standing by this oldest and most classically liberal principle of liberal democracy.

Much has been made recently of social media companies’ moderation policies seeking to strike balances between civility and liberty. Civility-oriented moderation strategies are referred to as the “European tradition” and liberty-oriented strategies are referred to as the “American tradition.”

We follow the American tradition to the letter. We will continue to do so as long as the company exists.
