Charles Eugster, a British dentist set the world record for the 200m, March 8, at the Silver Grey Sports Club in the U.K. He ran it in    55.48. The record was for his age class obviously. Eugster is 95 years old. May he be an inspiration to all nonagenarians.  And octogenarians as well.

Here  is a feature story about him that appeared in Britain’s The Telegraph.

Here is a link where he explains why bodybuilding is good for the elderly.

And here is his record setting run:

  1. Charles Eugster has to be some kind of a nut!
    He’s obviously not very bright,
He should spend the few years he has left eating delicious meals, Tell him to eat a lot of fried foods, such as chicken, fish, and French fries. He should be listening to good music and reading and enjoying good books.
He should be told to stay off the streets before he has a heart attack or gets hit by a truck.

  2. Harry please don’t forget the wine.

A nice inexpensive Merlot would be nice with your fried chicken and a chablis would go well with your fish and chips.

    1. Wine is great for dinner, but a nitecap go for a bourbon (Old Grandad) and soda. Sleep tight Old Timer.
