Chimpanzees eat monkeys. They also go to war with other chimpanzees.

Yep. I saw this in Jane Goodall’s series on the Gombe game preserve. Chimps will occasionally hunt down and eat monkeys, and other small animals, too.
It gave me an idea for what I called the Chimp Diet. Chimps eat a lot of green vegetables, fruits, nuts, supplemented with a little meat. I thought, that would be a pretty good diet. It’s hard to get the grass stem to bend the right way in the termite mound, though.
