  1. Absolutely! Every good Pennsylvania Dutchman knows this.

    The leaves make a good salad, though you want to pick the younger leaves, before they get too big. The bigger they get, the more bitter they taste.

    Some hot bacon dressing, and you’re all set!

    1. Brad, every good Italian knows this, also.
      Olive oil and vinegar dressing. Put on tuna sandwich instead of lettuce. Even cooked with olive oil and breadcrumbs!
