Having worked with stage lighting, I have a healthy respect for electricity. I always make sure a circuit is dead before I start working on it.
Years ago, I picked up a tip watching Bob Vila-I plug a radio into an outlet in the circuit and turn it on. When I kill the circuit at the panel, when I hear the radio go silent, I know I definitely got the right one.
That’s a pretty good tip.
