First Novel Written on a Typewriter William Lawrence Sr Cryptowit 7-21-22

The first novel written on a typewriter was “Tom Sawyer.” OK, some claim that it was “Life on the Mississippi” and that Mark Twain was misremembering when he said it was “Tom Sawyer”. Regardless, there does not seem to be any dispute that it was Twain that wrote it.

What’s a typewriter, you ask?  Think of it as a keyboard without cut and paste. The achievement remains.
