iPhone Clean Energy Charging Game — Apple added a new “feature” in iOS 16.1 for the iPhone that has it use “clean energy” for charging.
“Your iPhone gets a forecast of the carbon emissions in your local energy grid and uses it to charge your iPhone during times of cleaner energy production,” Apple says.

To turn it off go to Settings >Battery>Battery Health & Charging and move the slider by “Clean Charging Energy”.
