Mumia Speech Inspires HB 2533

Murderer Mumia Abu Jamal’s Oct. 5 recorded commencement address for the Vermont Campus of Goddard College has inspired legislation in Pennsylvania to address revictimization.

House Bill 2533 passed the  House Judiciary Committee, Oct. 8, and is expected to come before the full house this week, according to State Rep. Jim Cox (R-129).

Ahhh but what will happen if it should reach the Senate, hmmm Senator Pileggi?

HB 2533 says In addition to any other right of action and any other remedy provided by law, a victim of a personal injury crime may bring a civil action against an offender in any court of competent jurisdiction to obtain injunctive and other appropriate relief, including reasonable attorney fees and other costs associated with the litigation, for conduct which perpetuates the continuing effect of the crime on the victim.

Jamal is a convicted murderer who barely escaped the execution gurney and is serving a life sentence for taking the life of an innocent man, whom he has been slandering ever since. And before you start screaming in defense of Jamal’s First Amendment rights ask if he should have Second Amendment rights as well. How about the Fourth Amendment? You think the guards should need a warrant to search his cell?

Jamal can’t even order out for a pizza. He can’t even choose what clothes to wear.

He should be grateful for just being allowed to breathe.

  1. First, the so-called victim is said to be dead so how can you re victimize a dead body short of digging up the corpse and desecrating it?

Obviously, this poster believes in the guilt of Mumia Abu Jamal, a victim of the FBI CointelPro activities as exposed in The Church Committee Senate hearings on CointelPro. Police departments across this nation participated in and openly engaged in racist police terrorism and brutality, more so openly than they do today.

Mumia Abu Jamal was targeted by police and FBI since he was 14 yr old student, a child at the time, who like the child Malala Yousafzai, stood up to the bad men in their community.

The Philadelphia police department was sued by the US Justice Dept in the 1970s because of documented racist police violence and terrorism against the Black community. Mumia Abu Jamal is a victim and whatever cop he allegedly stopped from pistol whipping and possibly killing his brother, that cop is a casualty of his own racism and willingness to engage in an illegal state sanctioned race war against non-white people.

    1. Well, Scotty there is a wife who is still alive and has to hear this garbage but since you don’t seem to be able to comprehend her humanity, I kind of doubt pointing it out is going to make a difference to you.

      But I will anyway.

FBI CointelPro? You know the FBI is part of the Justice Department right? Are you saying the Justice Department that sued the Philadelphia Police Department was also working to set up Jamal?

Basically, yes, that is what you are saying. But it sounds “progressive” hence internal logic is irrelevant.

And you know COINTELPRO was disbanded months after it was exposed by the burglary of the Media, Pa. FBI office in 1971 — even before the Church hearings, right?

And you know that the Faulkner murder occurred in 1981, right?

Of course you do. That was sarcasm.

FYI, among the major targets of COINTELPRO was the KKK.

Of course you knew that too. (More sarcasm)

Mumia Abu Jamal is a victim and whatever cop he allegedly stopped from pistol whipping and possibly killing his brother, .

You mean the brother who told investigators at the scene “I ain’t got nothing to do with this” and would not testify on Jamal’s behalf at the trial?

Anyway, I thought the claim by Mumia supporters was that Jamal didn’t shoot Officer Faulkner but some mysterious running man did.

You got to get your stories straight.

OK, I take that back. You don’t have to keep your stories straight. You’ll accept and parrot and fully believe whatever the party line is of the day. See above regarding “progressive” internal logic.
