No Kings Tax Funded In Havertown? — It was noted at Trump’s conference on domestic terrorism that it is illegal to use tax dollars to support political rallies.
Will tomorrow’s scheduled “No Kings” rally get money from the people?
We hear that the June 14 “No Kings” rally on Eagle Road cost Haverford Township taxpayers somewhere between $10,000 and $30,000.
There were certainly a whole lot of police officers and township workers doing extra duty.
Also commissioners Sherry Forste-Grupp and Larry Holmes were in attendance. They were described as acting like grand marshals.
The township is dragging its feet regarding a breakdown of costs.
Hope nobody tells Pam Bondi that tomorrow’s political rally is going to be tax funded.

Can you provide more clarity about the funding? The phrase “cost Haverford Township taxpayers $30,000” could mean that tax dollars went to political signs, AV equipment, etc., or it could mean that that much money was used to pay police officers to monitor the area for the purpose of public safety. Only something like the former would be illegal.
