Joe Biden interrupted Paul Ryan 82 times during last night’s vice presidential debate, while moderator Martha Raddatz — who had Barack Obama as a wedding guest two decades ago — interrupted him 31 times.

With the vice president debate over, the impression one is left with is that the man who is one heartbeat away has the debating skills of a drunk uncle at a family picnic. Forget trying to reason. You’re not going to get a word in.
And the smiles, laughing and smirks certainly weren’t statesmen-like.
Moderator Martha Raddatz of ABC seemed to be working a tag team with Joe Biden by challenging GOP nominee Paul Ryan almost exclusively until the Afghanistan segment when she noted that some military experts questioned the withdrawal of surge troops as possibly political.
Biden’s reaction was just short of waving his finger and saying “listen missy”.

Duranty Winners Announced
Congratulations to Joan Juliet Buck who along with editor Anna Wintour are the winners of this year’s PJMedia.com Duranty Prize.
The piece that garnered the prize was the March 2011 cover story in Vogue magazine “Asma al-Assad: A Rose In The Desert” which made chic synonymous with the totalitarian hell of Bashar al-Assad’s Syria.
The prize is named for Walter Duranty who served as The New York Times Moscow Bureau Chief from 1922 to 1936 and wrote glowing paeans to Joseph Stalin all the while covering up mass murder. His diligent work would garner him in 1932 the coveted Pulitzer Prize, something about which the The Gray Lady was still boasting last time we checked, despite Duranty’s work as having long been definitively exposed as purposeful lies.
Duranty, by the way, was not a communist but a sex and drugs Satanist.
First runner up went to Bob Simon of CBS for his report “Christians of the Holy Land” which aired on 60 Minutes in April and which white-washed acts of persecution by Muslims in the region.
Second runner up went to Andrew Sullivan of Newsweek and the Daily Beast for a variety of stories including some that sought to prove Sarah Palin was not the mother of Trig Palin.

Political Intimidation Of Teen Has Troubling Implications
The local Philadelphia high school incident, wherein a black teacher intimidated a white, 16-year-old student because she had the audacity to express her First Amendment right and wear a Mitt Romney T-shirt on dress-down day, has garnered some national interest, but not the kind it would have produced had the roles been reversed.
It’s my opinion, of course, but I truly believe that if a white teacher had harassed a black teenage girl for wearing an Obama shirt, that teacher would have been summarily dismissed, and likely even charged with a “hate crime.”
The incident took place at Charles Carroll High in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia. I lived in Port Richmond, and I can tell you that there are few neighborhoods more patriotic, more hard-working, and more passionate about individual rights than this bastion of blue-collar pride.
So where is the outrage? Where is the good, old, Philadelphia neighborhood support for this child who was in effect bullied by one of the adults that’s supposed to be a safeguard during school hours for students’ rights?
I, my wife, and children have always been proud of our attachment to Port Richmond. One of our daughters and many of our friends still reside in this row-house region of typical, middle-class Philadelphia.
I can’t imagine that the folks I know who call Port Richmond home are not embarrassed, humiliated, and angered by the thought of a student who cannot express her Constitutional right without being accosted angrily by a member of the faculty.
Many Port Richmond veterans served abroad in the military to defend against precisely this kind of tyranny. And here it is raising its ugly head right in their own back yard. Or rather right in their local schoolyard.
I majored in history in undergrad school, so I’m particularly upset whenever I hear anybody deny that the Holocaust of World War Two ever took place.
Pollster Concedes Fla, N.C., And Va. To Mitt
Suffolk Polling has stopped polling for Florida, North Carolina and Virginia because they have found Romney with solid leads and strong trend lines.
Obama won all three states in 2008.
