Pro-Palestinian Protestors Picket Biden In Delco (UPDATED)– America’s treasonous leader was greeted with pro-Palestinian protestors when he arrived, March 8, campaign speech at Strath Haven Middle School, Nether Providence, Pa.

“Genocide Joe has got to go,” they chanted, along with similar slogans.

Betcha they all voted for him.

It’s nice when the H8ers eat their own.

Oct. 7 would never have happened if Trump had stayed in office. Biden, wouldn’t have been around to abandon at least $7 billion of military supplies in Afghanistan in a disgusting display of weakness, nor would he have released the $6 billion that went to Hamas’ ally Iran just before its attack. These basically gave a green light for the atrocities.

No Hamas attack would have meant no Israeli invasion of Gaza.

Elections have consequences.

Biden’s invitation-only speech was held in the middle school’s auditorium. District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer was there as were all of Delaware County Council excepting Kevin Madden.

Maybe he was tied up at the prison or something.

Free And Equal Presidential Debate

The second 2024 Free and Equal Debate happened on Thursday, Feb 29.

The moderators were Christina Tobin and Jason Palmer who was a Democratic presidential candidate included in the last Forum.

The participants were the Green Party’s Jasmine Sherman and Jill Stein, the Libertarian Party’s Lap Mapstead and Chase Oliver, and the Socialist Party’s Claudia De La Cruz.

A video of the event can be seen on Rumble and You Tube.

Chase Oliver was the candidate who impressed me the most, although the others had their moments.

Oliver received 80,000 votes in the 2022 Georgia Senate race.

He is platform includes returning to an Ellis Island style of processing immigrants and ending qualified immunity for federal law enforcement. He also wants to abolish the death penalty.

He also wants to abolish the FISA amendments act of 2008, the Patriot Act, and end the TSA.

Oliver also seeks to return America to being a republic rather than an empire. He wants to close all overseas bases and immediately return active-duty personnel to domestic bases. He wants to end aid to nation currently at war.

He wants to abolish the Department of Education and supports gun rights for all.

He’s probably too smart to ever be elected President.

Both Adlai Stevenson (Princeton) and Michael Dukakis (Swarthmore) were defeated rather handily.

Because of that, he also won’t be our first Gay President.

Linux Makes Computing Fun Again — The wonderful 27-inch iMac we’ve used for a decade-plus got buggy after we took its OS beyond what was recommended. Rather than fix it we got a newer iMac27 — albeit still seven years old — and installed Linux Mint Cinnamon.

Computing is fun again.

No longer is it about woke corporations trying maximize profits along with our dependency on them.

We rediscovered internet radio which once came included with iTunes.

Right now we are listening to Trini Lopez’ version of Guantanamera on Majestic Jukebox Radio.

For a while my posts have included the lesser-known Democrat and Republican presidential candidates, some of whom have great ideas and some others who choose to run. Now that Donald J. Trump has almost clinched the delegates needed for the nomination.

It’s just a matter of time as he only needs approximately 150.

However, among the GOP faithful, there are a band of what can be called “Never Trumpers.” Since Nikki Haley dropped out, they have nowhere to go.

Or so they believe.

There are approximately 60 GOP candidates with internet information, either a website or Facebook, or other internet listings, listed under “Other Republicans” at Politics1.com

Only three of my six posts on GOP candidates are still relevant as the other three have dropped out.

Still running are: E.W. Jackson, a Chester native; James Meroney and John Schiess.

Eventually, the Republican Party will coalesce around Donald Trump, as the Democrats have already coalesced around Joe Biden but they probably need some time for what we call, in other contexts, “acceptance”. I’ll just point out that there are still Republicans in the race to ease them into the reality.

Young Male Illegals In Delco’s Shuttered Hospitals?? — Delaware County’s rulers were thrown into a tizzy, Monday, March 4, when a story broke that its two large shuttered hospitals — Delaware County Memorial in Upper Darby and Springfield — were going to be used to house young male illegals.

Councilwoman Christine Reuther called the claim a “paranoid fantasy.” She said that she has “literally no idea” as to what it was about.

The matter was again brought up, and stridently denied, at yesterday’s County Council meeting.

It’s believable the deniers are telling the truth and have no clue as to any plan to house illegals.

Prospect Medical Holdings owns the buildings. The county wouldn’t have much say as to what happens if the federal and state governments back a “non government organization” like HIAS Pennsylvania to use them for illegal housing.

Regardless, housing the illegals is not the paranoid fantasy.

The paranoid fantasy is housing the illegals and giving them guns.

That’s the paranoid fantasy.

Delco Told Prison Bosses Retaliated Against Guards Who Met With Councilman And Exec Director— Frank Kwaning, president of the Delaware County (Pa) Prison Employees Independent Union, yesterday, March 6, praised county Executive Director Barbara O’Malley and Councilman Richard R. Womack for their recent tour of the county’s George Hill Correctional Facility and the point they made to privately talk with correctional officers.

Kwaning said, however, the prison administration retaliated against those officers after the county officials left.

Womack said that he was appalled to hear that and asked Kwaning to supply him with specifics.

Kwaning, a 14-year-veteran, of the facility was among the 68 fired after the County took over the facility in April 2022. He and 12 other former correctional officers filed a federal lawsuit, Feb. 29, saying their termination was improper.

Ms. O’Malley, earlier in the night, said major upgrades have been planned for the prison and that she would investigate all complaints. She said, however, she was satisfied with how things were going there.

The rank and file have long been warning council of dangerous conditions at the facility.

Oaths

Carris Kocher of Concord during public comments took issue with Solicitor Jonathan Lichtenstein’s claim that only elected officials were required to take oaths of office. She read to him state law that specifically cited clerks and deputies.

She also asked why the county needed process servers outside the elected constables, who are recognized law enforcement officers.

A Concord man brought to council’s attention a matter of suspicious zoning in his township.
