As work progressed, however, a new and deep pothole was found by Ellen Segal DiStefano. She told a SEPTA worker who responded that it was a township problem.
So she called Haverford Township who told her it was a SEPTA problem.
She persisted, however. She contacted elected officials and wrote about it on Facebook’s South Ardmore Business Alliance.
Lo and behold the pothole is gone.

Over the weekend I attended two Trump flag waves. It was fun, but I encountered opposition.
On Saturday, President Trump attended the NCAA Wrestling Championships at the Wells Fargo Center and I met up with a couple of patriots to give him a warm welcome. Unfortunately we were outnumbered by counter protesters.
On Sunday, President Trump attended an event at a golf course in Bedminster, N. J. I joined group of Patriots to give him a warm welcome. Once again, I encountered opposition, but that didn’t stop me. They didn’t even stay that long, which was the funny part.

This 4th Detrans Awareness Day is sponsored by Genspect. Relatively new to the culture wars, this group was founded in June of 2021 by “gender-critical” psychotherapist Stella O’Malley.
Genspect works with Society for Evidence-based Gender Medicine (SEGM)
Both have been designated as “anti-LGBTQ hate groups b the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Their enemy group is primarily World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH)
At the conference, “one Detransition activist, Soren Aldaro”
urged legislation that would mandate insurance providers to cover “detransition treatment”.
Much as transition treatment has some coverage.
There was much criticism of the New York Times coverage of the event which Times described as being “anti-trans” as in this article by Katie Baker
Suffice it to say, the above is a situation that should rarely happen, if at all.
