Delco Represented At Harrisburg Trump Rally

The Trump Train pulled into Harrisburg on July 31st and showed no sign of slowing down.
On a beautiful summer day tens of thousands braved the 90 degree heat and high humidity at the New Holland Arena, part of the Agricultural Farm Expo Complex.
Doors to the venue opened promptly at 2 pm and the program started at 4 PM with an Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance followed by a stirring rendition of both the National Anthem and God Bless America.
Notable speakers included Dave McCormick, candidate for US Senate, and several local Congressional Representatives including Scott Perry.
Donald Trump took the stage at 7 pm and spoke passionately for around 90 minutes. The arena was near capacity and President Trump noted there were 20,000 attendees still outside after the venue was filled.
Speaking directly to his record as Chief Executive, he contrasted his own accomplishments with failed Border Czar and current Vice President Kamala Harris. Touting a secure border, economic prosperity and world peace his message was well received by an enthusiastic crowd.
Having attended the Rolling Stones Philadelphia show in June and the Willie Nelson July 4th picnic this year I can honestly say The Donald has all the charisma and energy of a rock star. This was my first Trump rally but will definitely not be my last.

Haverford’s Proud Tradition Of Perversion Continues

Matthew Gagat, a fifth grade teacher at Lynnewood Elementary school in Haverford Township, Pa., is facing charges of indecent exposure after he was reportedly caught masturbating March 3 in Whitemarsh Cemetery in Montgomery County and on June 27 in Lenape Park in Bucks County.
Gagat made national news.
The district begged for patience .
“The challenge for a school system in these moments is to appropriately address our community concerns while maintaining the procedures — both in the criminal justice system and as a district employee– that the individual is entitled to under the law,” said Superintendent Maureen Reusche.
This statement by Ms Reusche is quite reasonable. We understand, however, that Gagat has been the subject of complaints for the last two years. These included his removing his shirt in front of fifth graders during class.
These complaints were ignored.
Perversion is nothing new in Haverford Township.
High School Vice Principal Steven Quinn was quietly let go a few years back after he exposed himself in photos on Instagram. Quinn had befriended many students on the site. One photo featured Quinn wearing nothing but Christmas lights. Students angry at Quinn made t-shirts with this photo and wore them to class.
Ms Reuche defended Quinn as long as she could. We hear he is now working in a New Jersey school district.
Socialist Party USA Has Presidential Candidates

If you were worried that we don’t have enough Socialist Parties in the US, relax. There are 15 listed in this wiki, and they are missing a few that we’re aware of.
Among the oldest still active, is Socialist Party USA (SPUSA) which was founded in 1973 and “advocates for complete independence from the Democratic Party”.
Civil rights icon Bayard Rustin was a former chairman.
The 2008 Socialist Party candidate for President Brian Moore was very vocal against the idea that Barack Obama was a socialist of any kind.”
There are four elected SPUSA members, three of whom are in Minneapolis.
They have eight issues on their website.
Its presidential candidate William Stodden, and vice-presidential candidate Stephanie Cholensky are members of what some call “the academic-industrial complex.”
Stodden has a Ph.D from Southern Illinois University in political science, and has served on the faculty of Concordia State, North Dakota State, among others.
On their website, under campaign updates; there’s this puzzling statement. “Bill has particular expertise on the 1959 Cuban Revolution and the revolutionary power of condensed milk and sausage.” We will have our local socialist comrades translate this for us.
Stephanie Cholensky has a BS in chemistry from the University of Minnesota, where she currently works.
Their publication is called The Socialist and includes online classes by such socialist luminaries as Bell Hooks and others.
There is a Socialist Party of New Jersey Socialist Party of New Jersey, though not a current one in either Delaware or Pennsylvania. There used to be one, however, and you can read about it here.Socialist Party of Pennsylvania.
Part of the problem Socialist Parties have had, historically, is their tremendous infighting and the spawning of splinter groups like enraged amoebas.
