Stradley Ronon Connections — Chaka Fattah has done his part to uphold the sterling reputation of Pennsylvania’s congressional delegation and the state’s 2nd Congressional District is now vacant with his resignation stemming from his convictions of RICO Act violations and other crimes.
Among those found guilty with him was Herbert Vederman, a long-time Democrat man of influence who is still listed at ZoomInfo.com as senior consultant for the Government and Public Affairs Group at Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young, a Philadelphia law firm.
Think he knew Val DiGiorgio? Val is the Chester County Republican Party chairman who chairs Stradley Ronon’s banking and public finance sections and includes Government and Public Affairs as part of his “focus”.
Val is thought to have the inside track to be the next chairman of the state Republican Party.
Wonder if Vederman knew Josh Shapiro. Josh, who chairs the Montgomery County Democrat Party, is counsel at Stradley Ronon. He is this year’s D candidate for state Attorney General.
Josh and Val are friends. Josh got Val’s wife a $105,000 a year job with Montgomery County.
Stradley Ronon sure has a lot of interesting connections.
You really think these people are looking out for you? You really think anybody in the leadership of either party gives a rat’s tail about you?

Good investigative job, Bill!
Stradley Ronon must have a great IT shop. You can search for Herbert Vederman all you want on their site and not find him. Like he never existed. But he did exist, lobbying with Mr. DiGiorgio apparently.
What a nice, tight group. Everybody doing well. Well, not everybody –the citizens and taxpayers seem to be left out in the cold.
Great pic of Mr. DiGiorgio, too, that arrogant Barack Obama pose. Very nice.
And the ties get murkier and murkier. Yet Val DiGiorgio pretends to the position of PA State Chair for the Republican Party. Imagine him bringing his South Philly tactics and connections to the State and National level.
Unfortunately, the PA “Republican” State Committee seems to like this kind of stuff. That is the same crew that brought us the Corbett debacle. The only Republican incumbent in the world to lose in that Republican landslide. And they are the ones that have brought us the debacle of losing all the statewide judges this past November.
But I am not sure that they worry about Mr. DiGiorgio bringing his tactics and connections to the “leadership” of the state “Republican” party. It really isn’t a Republican party anymore. It is the Establishment Party. So long as the Establishment Party insiders get what they want (100k plus jobs for their spouses from the Democrats, as an example), they don’t care about the supposed issues and candidates of the Republican Party.
“Val is thought to have the inside track to be the next chairman of the state Republican Party.”
Please don’t let this happen! what an excellent arguement for term limits. If these public servants are doing something illegal, let’s send them to jail.
